Review for a Greece Cruise on Variety Voyager

I just got back from sailing with them, and I had a wonderful time sailing around on the Classical Greece cruise with variety. We stopped at a lot of great Islands and ports and saw a little bit of all the best parts of Greece. Everything from the ship to the food and the destinations were fantastic. My favorite stop was the small island of Kythira which was stunning, but all the stops were ...

For the second time we had the opportunity to take a great trip with variety cruises. After the seychelles last year we took part in the classical greece tour. Variety picked us up directly at athens airport and drove to Piräus port. From the first moment we felt very comfortable on board. The excursions were very well organized and carried out very well. We also want to highlight the ...

Good itinerary, second class service.

We chose this cruise for the itinerary and hoping the weather in September would still be hot. Due to high winds in the Aegean, the ship sailed to the Ionian Sea, which was fine. The weather was spectacular, the ports we visited were great, we had a lot of fun. The problem with the ship and the crew was evident after a few days - the ship is starting to show its age and the captain said on the ...

Friends recommended this cruise to us and it didn't disappoint. We absolutely loved it and we met the most fabulous people who we will hopefully see again one day. We were the only Australian/ New Zealanders on the cruise, there was a huge variety of nationalities, couples and singles from America, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Argentina, England, Scotland, we met a few really fabulous ...

Dream Vacation

The phenomenal staff made this trip the dream trip for which we were hoping. Our trip was held in May 2022 when Covid was raging, and the United States were requiring a negative Covid test for reentry. Due to this, there were only twenty-five passengers on our ship, and many of the staff told us that this was one of the very first trips they had had since the pandemic began. The long hiatus ...

We bought this cruise in a benefit auction for Aces In Motion, a non-profit in Gainesville, Florida which teaches tennis to help develop life skills and character in teenagers who want a better life!. We were delayed 3 times by covid and once by Variety but the timing of the trip 3 Nov 2022 couldn't have been more perfect. The weather did reroute us to Messalinghi which turned out to be an amazing ...

We absolutely loved our cruise. It was our very first cruise experience and it was perfect. The staff was amazing. They went above an beyond. They remembered every preference and were so helpful and enthusiastic. We really enjoyed the swim stops. Seeing only the sea and a remote, uninhabited island was so fun. The crew was great about safety and getting us to and from shore. The ...

Worst cruise ever

Let me list the points: 1) Accommodation - we paid for a cat A cabin and on arrival were shown to a cabin with twin beds. We argued that we booked a double but manager just shrugged shoulders and said boat was full which turned out to be a complete lie. Met the couple opposite us and they had been booked into cat B and then decided they didn't like the cabin and were given an upgrade (at a ...

This was not a 'classic or luxurious cruise ship'

I chose this cruise in order to visit particularly Hydra, Mykonos, Santorini and Crete, which were itemised in the itinerary. Embarkation & disembarkation were no problem. First, the problems arose as we left the port, when the Captain informed us that the detailed itinerary, that we had chosen especially, was going to be undertaken in reverse order. This meant that on our first night we arrived ...

This is a beautiful small ship (about 25 cabins) with an amazing crew. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was wonderful..authentic Greek food, perfect for our trip around these beautiful islands. Our tour coordinator, Joseph, was knowledgeable, friendly and funny a perfect combination! The stewards (food and room) were all efficient and friendly, our room was serviced twice a ...
