Baltimore to the Bahamas

This cruise was pretty inexpensive compared to other Royal Caribbean cruises. The ship was well kept along with great service from the crew. It didn’t seem there was a lot to do in the Bahamas, Grand Bahamas was a little shallow on activities unless you like water activities. Bimini also the same, the best island was Coco Cay which is a day on the beach, sandwich bites from food shacks, a large ...

I have never been treated more poorly by individuals who were supposed to be providing me with a service. The security on the ship is absolutely abysmal. There is zero care or concern for the safety and well-being of guests, there is flagrant misuse of authority and absolutely unbecoming conduct by several higher ranking crew members. The food was low quality and cold. Much of the ship was ...

I thought by taking a twelve day cruise rather than flying to the southern caribbean would be a good idea. But what turned out to be seven days on this boat was a bad mistake. This ship is old and very very warm down. Who can afford to take a twelve day cruise old people!. It's very worn-out and in a upgrade despitely. As for the crew they did the best they could do with what they had to deal ...

This was to be another fantastic family cruise - post COVID crap and back together celebrating. What a bomb. Our first cruise (circa 2001 - we have been on 10 cruises since) was on Navigator - I still remember being offered a Pina Colada the minute we hit the entry hall on the ship - "you are on vacation mon .... we've been waiting for you!" Well, this is a fond memory never to be had again. All ...

Leaving from Baltimore this cruise is on one of Royal's oldest ships in their current fleet, Enchantment of the Seas, invoking ideas that'll be dated, lack activities and in general be a boring ship, I'd say the opposite! This ship has some fun extra details due to its extension back in 2005, offering it's outdoor Oasis bar and a larger pool deck with see through floors to the passing ocean below! ...

We had always heard Royal Caribbean was the top of the line when it came to cruise ships. So, we decided, this time, to try one. It was a nice cruise but definitely not a step up from Celebrity or Norwegian. The little things were missing, not many dining venues were offered, requests for dining time changes were frowned upon (and actually made us feel awkward — we were a party of only 2!),…We ...

A good ship for those who enjoy cruising on smaller, older ships

I chose this cruise because I wanted to try cruising on an older, smaller cruise ship with my kids. I saw a relatively cheap cruise from Baltimore, Maryland and booked it. My kids were a little disappointed as they were expecting to go on one of the newer cruise ships, but, nevertheless, they had a great time onboard. We entered the ship in the atrium, which really amazed us. For the size and age ...

Chose this cruise last minute as we were in Baltimore. Its been a few years since we sailed Royal. We are Emerald members. This old ship should be seriously docked permanently. the ship is rusted and smelly. Carpets need to Our cabin was next to a Utility room and every night we heard rumbling noises from our shower. And the smell of sewer. Bringing this up to our attendant and Guest Services was ...

Very disappointing and fraught with issues and inequitable compensation for cruisers

This cruise had ship issues (freezing cold cabins and common areas) at the beginning of the cruise (first day and 1/2). The cruise staff did not communicate, and cruisers found out there was an issue when making calls to maintenance. One call we made to maintenance went unheeded although they promised to send someone to our cabin. We had 3 cabins and Royal provided credits two of our cabins at ...

At least I was able to see Charleston. Hurricane Nicole cancelled Coco Cay

Wanted to see Charleston SC and Coco Cay. It was ok and Poogan Porch was nice. I forgot my credit card and had some cash but not enough for whole bill. I am sending them the difference. Really didn't do a lot on the ship. Broadway shows were fine but I am not into variety and comics. The pool area is small, 2 pools so all the kids were in it most of the time. The solarium was fine but I like more ...
