This was our 4th MSC cruise and 12th cruise in total, so whilst not cruise experts we are able to compare our experience with previous trips. Although this ship is almost 10 years old, she is in pretty good shape and certainly provides a luxurious environment. We had a balcony and our cabin was in pristine condition and cleaned efficiently and effectively on a daily basis. The bathroom was a ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We wished to visit the Caribbean islands, and also to celebrate my husbands birthday & retirement. We liked the idea that we would fly to Barbados to pick up the ship. We had only been on one cruise before and did not like being at sea for the first 3 days and the last 3 as we had found it quite boring. Flying seemed the best idea for us. The cabin ...

This was our 5th MSC Cruise and as always it exceeded our expectations. We embarked and disembarked in Barbados. Embarkation was very quick and our cabin was ready and waiting. Disembarkation was excellent. Our return flight wasn't till 17.10 so we were allowed to stay on board and make full use of all amenities and our cabin or get off and return until our departure at 14.00. Our cabin was ...

Some good points - nice balcony cabin, very pleasant staff in all areas, good itinerary visiting lots of Caribbean islands, food and service quite good in main restaurant (where we ended up having 3 meals a day) and drinks package worked out well for us - bad points: buffet restaurant - avoided all cruise, it was like an overcrowded bad works canteen, jostling for space, trying to find a table to ...

If I'd been told that the crew were working to rule after a nasty trade dispute I'd understand. Otherwise why be so rude, inefficient and unco-operative? Food always cold, nasty smell on upper decks and receptionists from the Soviet school of hospitality. Like many passengers caught a nasty cold for second half of the trip. We booked two trips. One was perfuntuary but on if youbdid your ...

We were a party of 13 yet MSC decided to book all 300 English passengers on the BA flight as one booking so no one was able to book seats for the plane it didn't get much better embarkation went ok and cabin was clean and ready on arrival, We attended the safety drill which was totally dis-organized people that did attend had to return following night as no one had scanned their cruise cards to ...

We are well travelled independent travellers however this was only my second cruise, the first being as a 11 year old on SS Northern Star !!! in 1973. However having done substantial research and engaged several seasoned cruiseists I feel my opinion should be a valid one. We picked the cruise primarily for the itinerary, sailing out of Barbados 12 different islands, but twice into Martinique ...
