Check in at Port Denarau was easy. We had complimentary pickup from our Nadi hotel. On arrival, you drop off the bags and they advise what time to come back for boarding. You can then have a drink, look around the shops etc. You are greeted with a nice drink on arrival and welcoming singers and staff and shown to your cabin.

Did not meet expectations but mostly made up for that with the unexpected
First, th things I expected that were not very good – great scuba diveing and some great kayaking over shallow clear waters and reefs.
I expected some great scuba diving during the 7 night cruise - hopefully two times, with 2 dives each time for 4 dives total. Two dives is pretty common for one morning or afternoon ...
We usually go on large cruise ships. The experience we encountered with Blue Lagoon Cruises, being a small boutique cruise, we found to be very enjoyable. From the moment of our very smooth embarkation the crew made us feel part of their family.
The cabins are spacious enough for that size ship, they are clean and serviced daily. Meals delicious and plentiful. The crew and the Captain went ...

The boat is fully staffed by locals, you visit great snorkeling sites every day and places made famous by movies ( Cast Away, Blue Lagoon and Survivor). The food ...
There are so many choices in the islands of Fiji, so my daughter and I decided a cruise through the Yasawa Islands would give us a sampler in a small amount of time. The Fiji Princess is a small, 65 passenger plus crew ship with dining and lounge areas, as well as a large sundeck. Because of small size, there was no fitness or true aquatic area. I believe there were only about 45 passengers ...
Maybe Blue Lagoon needs to revise some of its brochures. The one I have states that embarkation is from 12 noon, with sailing at 3.00pm. Not quite so. Pre-embarkation is at a building in Lautoka, and for early and conscientious passengers the wait is tedious and boring. For those of you with travel acumen and a timetable to match, far better to arrive late than early, and to recieve VIP rush ...
