This was our first-ever river cruise experience. We did a lot of research and watched a lot of videos about the experience so we felt pretty well prepared for the trip. We went on the Embla for our 30th Anniversary. I really liked the River Cruise because it was adults only, the food was really good, the staff was friendly, you make new friendships and get to see parts of the world you have never seen before. The staff was great. The food was great. The tours were great. The room was good except for the temperature being either freezing or burning alive hot and water pooling on the balcony (no drain hole on edge).
