Carnival Family Cruises Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

A solid ship that has lots to do even though it's not a "Mega" ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Pride

This last cruise was my 6th with Carnival and my 2nd time on the Pride. I was last on the Pride 10 years ago and was pleasantly surprised by a lot of refurbishments and additions they've made since then. This class of ship is the 2nd smallest in Carnival's fleet, but with all the facilities it has, you aren't missing out on much that the bigger ships have except for the crowds. In fact, on all my ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Vista

This will be a detailed review from a first time cruiser. We decided to go on our cruise to celebrate our 15th Anniversary. Our departure port was Galveston and we decided to drive down the night before and stay the night. We were not impressed with Galveston. The city did not have much to offer and seemed pretty run down. We stayed at a hotel that offered to let us park our car in their lot ...

J&Q Travels Youtube We had an an excellent time on the cruise the Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse was a nice dining experience, we also ate at the Cucina Del Capitano and that was the best authentic Italian food we have both had, ever. The main dining hall food was excellent also. We got the Cheers! Drink package, we did not cover the cost of what we paid for it so it was a little disappointing. ...

We chose this cruise for a sibling/extended family getaway. We flew from Houston and chose the Carnival bus for the transfer from the airport. At the airport Carnival personnel directed us to a Carnival desk where we got our boarding passes and transfer receipt for to and from the ship. The bus was prompt and the trip was fine. At the ship luggage was loaded without our having to touch it. ...

Need more hot tubs or keep them open past midnight. We could never get in until really late because they were always full. We enjoyed the IMAX theater but it was expensive at $12.95. We expected to pay a lot less. Our steward was great and every time we had an issue with the room; he got right on it and was fixed within 10 minutes or so. I do wish that snack like cookies/cakes/fruit would ...

My husband and I (ages 56 and 61) chose this cruise to have a a mid-winter vacation. Baltimore is only a three hour drive from our home in central PA. The timing was great because we missed the Polar Vortex. We arrived at the port during our scheduled time. Parking was easy and close. Costs $15 a day which we paid on the way in. There was no wait for embarkation. We each brought a bottle of wine in ...

We joined a group with common interests for a 6-day Western Caribbean Cruise. I usually cruise with other lines and never in the Caribbean but made the journey because of the group and the chance to escape winter weather in January. We found the ship in fairly good shape—older and smaller than many, though I like the smaller ships. We found getting around a bit confusing with little direction, ...

This was our second cruise on the Dream once before the dry dock. Must say the 2017 dry dock did the Dream some good! Honestly, I had reservation about booking again on the Dream since our first time it was just ok. The additions of Guy's Pig & Anchor and Blue Iguana Cantina were big hits for us on this trip. We did have the late seating for dinner in the Scarlet Dining Room. Our waitstaff ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Splendor

I have cruised about 6 times before. Been on this same Mexican Rivera itinerary for most of those... Splendor was the best!! The staff on this boat was without a doubt THE BEST cruise staff I have ever had. Yes, the decor is pink. But is that REALLY why you cruise? Because you need to see a certain color on the walls?!? I appreciated the "older" decor. I liked that the rooms and areas were ...

We have cruised the Breeze 3 times before; Mediterranean, TransAtlantic and Carribean. One of our top 5 ships. My top tip, study the ship to get around easily and join the programs and activities suited to yourself. We're hitting about 50 cruises on many different cruise lines. It really helps us. Some ships have a scavenger hunt first day which you get a stamp at each location on the ship and ...
