My wife and I have cruised extensively on many cruise lines, and we recently sailed on a 7 day Carnival Legend cruise to the Western Caribbean. While we were not WOWed by the experience, there were several interesting highlights. EMBARKATION: was smooth and one of the quickest we have ever experienced. CABIN: We had an aft-facing balcony cabin on the 7th floor. We found the cabin to be a bit ...

I have always wanted to see the Panama Canal and it did not disappoint .My girls and my Grand daughter decided to to an all girl Cruise. The Crew was all amazing. My Stateroom Steward Aris was the best. As was the people he worked with always with a smile and a greeting. The ship was clean and well laid out. The entertainment was the best the singers and dancers were the best and when you seen ...

Old, bad food selection

This cruise was chosen for a group traveling together by an agent. The ship was old and in disrepair and had several items not working one of which was the water which flowed dark brown in the middle of the cruise. The hot tub never worked nor the sliding cover over pool, we had a couple days of rain, and they allowed smoking by the pool side I've never seen that before. We didn't have a ...

Don't Do it

We have been on 20 or more cruises with several different cruise lines. I would not recommend this ship to anyone unless you have never been on any ship and have nothing to compare it to. Ship is old and outdated and in much need of repair and upgrading. Food is mediocre at best in MDR. Service in MDR is very good. One of the very few highlights of our trip. On the other hand, the buffet is ...

Not a kid-friendly decor: nude murals everywhere

Review for Carnival Legend to Caribbean - Western

I am sorry to make such an extreme rating, just to convey my point. I am hoping that carnival will consider removing nude female artwork from elevators and corridors. I have been on multiple carnival cruises and I love Carnival, but this time I was surprised to see such explicit imagery everywhere. As usual, Staff, Food, Pool, Water works, Green thunder, Housekeeping were all amazing. I ...

Not too thrilled with the ship

We booked the cruise because of the home port, the ports of call and the dates just lined up perfectly with our child's school break. We overall were satisfied we had the vacation and we were happy we went on vacation, but... The ship was definitely subpar. It showed signs of aging everywhere. We had a leak in our room and with it being Thanksgiving week there were no free cabins elsewhere on ...

We chose this cruise because we love Tampa and because my aunt and her husband recently moved to Roatan... we wanted to visit them. The price was right for the two of us (went without kids this time). We've found the Tampa airport and the Tampa cruise port to be so easy to get in and out of. We experienced the same this cruise. The ship is definitely older and the decor wasn't our ...

Relaxation cruise

We were supposed to go to Cuba on Paradise, but trip was cancelled so we jumped ship to the Legend. Same port, 7 day cruise vs. 5 day cruise. We would have cancelled the whole cruise but flights and hotel were paid for, plus we had people we were meeting up with before and after the cruise. Legend was a smaller ship than we have sailed in the past, and needs much work (peeling paint, rust and ...

I am an avid photographer so my expectations for the chance to capture great images was high and I was not disappointed. By far our best trip and vacation memories ever! We sailed out of Seattle in September with a group of 8 family members with just the husbands and wives. We had no issues getting through customs, where the personnel were friendly and got us onboard as soon as possible. ...

All i can say is wow. Carnival went above and beyond to satisfy all guests on board. The food was amazing and the staff always went out of their way to help with any needs. We stayed in a balcony cabin, which was clean, spacious and had everything you would need. The entertainment was endless and had something for both me and my husband to enjoy. Bonsai sushi and Steakhouse a must visit and guys ...
