We chose this cruise as it's only a 50 minute flight to Long Beach. The ship was very clean and I'm not sure how Carnival does it, but their staff is amazing. We took our 7 year old grandson and had a deluxe ocean view with to bathrooms. There was enty of room for the 3 of us. It was 2 hort flights to the Vista dining room. We always take my time dining as we enjoy the flexibility. The Food ...

Hello! We are in our 40s with a tween. We have cruised several times- 3 with Carnival, Royal, and Norweigan. Pros: The ship is beautiful! She is well maintained. Staff was fantastic. Room steward did an excellent job. She was always cheerful. Our waiter was fantastic. He was attentive. I loved the Italian restaurant and the pizza. All of the onboard activities was great. Great week in Mexico!

Getting there Brian and I booked the Panorama to the Mexican Riviera last year for our Spring Break cruise. We took advantage of a very rare free Cheers promotion, and used it to the fullest! We took the chance of flying from Las Vegas to Long Beach the morning of the cruise. It was a little stressful, but we took the first flight in the morning, with plenty of flights throughout the day ...

I'll start this review by saying I hadn't initially booked this sailing, originally we were booked on the Panorama for the 9th of December but due to engine problems, the ship was dry docked. That being said we paid little to nothing for this cruise nor did I have many expectations as this was my first time sailing with Carnival. For reference, my first cruise was on Harmony with Royal, which was ...

Good music. Mediocre food

The live music around the ship was really good. The ship was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was so-so. I didn’t really care for the food available around the pool (which should probably be improved bc the service was very slow and just okay tasting). Didn’t love the Lido deck food, which all looked about the same to me. Would have loved a different section of gluten free ...

An Excellent First Carnival Cruise

First, I apologize for this novel but I do like to provide thorough information for others to reference! I have sailed twice on Disney Cruise Line (2018-2019) and five times on Royal Caribbean (2022-2023). I’m a travel agent and looking to expand my offerings and the best way to do that is to keep sailing! I live on the west coast and Carnival has a noticeable presence here year round, so I found ...

Ok - Seemed like Carnival Went Downhill

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

We chose because it was West Coast (easier for traveling for us from AK) and week before Spring Break. The food quality has gone down tremendously. The service was good and entertainment ok but if you aren’t a late owl be prepared to miss most deck or theme parties since they all started at 10:30 or 11pm. The 15-17 age group seemed like they didn’t do much to engage kids together and my ...

Not apples to apples! Great time with our daughter and her 3 boys ages 6, 3, 1! boys were too young to participate in some of the fun, plus the weather was on the coolish side, but that is on us. we made the best of what was lovely about the experience. my daughter chose an interior cabin for this "cruising experiment." she was amazed how well they fit...she and baby in queen bed and boys ...
