This was a little pre-holiday getaway on the Carnival Radiance. I wasn't expecting much, but it was better than I expected. That said, there were some good and some bad. I'll try to leave a comprehensive review.
The itinerary: Just meh. Catalina was the highlight of the two ports. It looks very Mediterranean from the ship. Ensenada was less than picturesque. Neither offers much in the ...
This is my second cruise. My first experience cruising was not the best, however this time was amazing! The staff was very nice and attentive. They even new our names and addressed us as such. There can be a little wait to get a drinks, however it goes by really fast. Every food place that we tried was good. I especially enjoyed the Seafood Shack and Big Chicken as well as the Italian restaurant ...
Selected the cruise for the ship, dates and cost. The Miracle is an older ship with a smaller guest size than the newer ships. The ship is well maintained for the most part but there are some issues to be aware of.
Embarkation was a little convoluted but not a problem. We were going to be parking the port and received an email about the parking structure at the pier which was not going to ...
We recently moved to Arizona and are taking advantage of cruises out of Long Beach CA since we can drive. We did a week long cruise Super Bowl week this year (Mexican Riviera) that was awesome so tried a shorter cruise to Catalina island and Ensenada. Carnival was running a good deal with a $500 credit so we chose an oceanview room on level 2 that was $499 before taxes and fees. It’s our first ...
Horrible cruise! We call it the cruise from Hell. Broken propulsion system AGAIN on this ship!!! We had high anxiety and stress the entire week. They set sail knowing the ship couldn’t reach maximum speed and cancelled ports before we even left Long Beach. Crookedest stunt ever to not announce it before we boarded. Give us a choice to get our money back 100%!! Some of us flew from the midwest and ...
I will start with a quick summary of our cruise and then break it down into sections with more detail. First, a little about us, we are an easy going family of four including two kids aged 8 and 11. We have been on nine Carnival cruises as a family so we are pretty experienced cruisers.
Quick summary: Panorama is a very nice ship with lots of amenities, activities, and entertainment to keep ...
Carnival's scheme of taking old ships, adding a bunch more cabins and taking away public spaces to do it results in crowded spaces and poorly functioning basics, like plumbing. The week before our recent cruise, part of the deck we were booked on (7) flooded. We didn't worry too much about it figuring it would be cleaned up before we got on. It was, but during our cruise a cabin on deck 8 started ...
this was my 19th cruise and we really enjoyed it....the buffet, shaqs, guys burgers, pizza , deli, tacos all was good....the dining room food was meh....cold and tasteless...upcharge for a decent steak or lobster etc.. did not go to any shows though it heard they were good. servers were polite. did not purchase drinks. deserts were good though not large slices.. ports of call were boring.pricey ...
I chose this cruise specifically for the parry vibe! We were not disappointed!"
The Park West presentation was a disappointment . The man running it was obviously ill witan upper respiratory infection. He was cough and likely had a fever! I hope we don't catch it. I reported him to Guest Services, so hopfully they willing and quarantine him.
The food was amazing!! The staff were Wesome, ...
I don’t usually write reviews. So here goes. -
Look- we have been cruising with carnival almost 20 years. We have reached our breaking point. This cruise line has become masters of working every angle for a buck. A massive stomach bug took over the ship and there was near pandemic levels of diarrhea and vomiting. Every hand sanitizer station was empty of product except one, and despite the ...
