Embarkation: We always stay at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach the night before our cruise. We book the Park and Cruise package which includes the room, eight nights of parking, and a free shuttle to/from the Carnival cruise port which is about a five minute drive. We had FTTF with a 12:00 arrival appointment. We decided to head to the port early. We arrived at 10:40, dropped off our luggage, and ...

A nice Fall break on the Panorama

We had a nice Fall break on the Panorama if you are looking to get a taste of cruising with kids (12-14yrs) The pricing was really reasonable. The kids group was really lacking attention for pre teens. They had to make their own fun with the other pre teens. I would only rate comedy shows and productions as fair. Cruise Director Jerry was great. Had some Halloween activities which were nice. ...

Lacking in so many ways

This was our dream cruise that was canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic. The food was horrible except for the frosted flakes and the ice cream. The only thing I ate that was hot was some soup. The menue is way to exotic. Guys burgers was the best there was. We didn't try any specialty dinning though. Leaving the ship for almost every port was a hot mess. No communication as to what was ...

Dear Carnival: keep the Miracle weird!

If you're considering this ship, the first thing you're looking at will most likely be its' oddball decor, and if I'm using Carnival-speak, it inspires "Fascination." The photos don't lie - you'll find giant bunches of grapes hanging from the ceiling in the main dining room, an entire clone army of "Horatios" (which appear to be Lord Horatio Nelson, of Battle of Trafalgar fame) on the walls in the ...

This was not my first cruise I've sailed on different ships with carnival and I have never had the worst experience as I have this time. 1. I took 14 people along with me on this Cruise to have never been. I wanted them to see the ship sail away and it didn't sell away on time. In fact it may have been eight or 9:00 when it sailed away wasn't informed of what time it was selling. 2. It ...

This cruise was absolutely horrible. I have been on many cruises and this did not feel like a cruise. Shows were mainly comedy club or a few of the staff dancing. Food was totally horrible. A group of us ordered lasagna in the dining room and we all sent it back it was so discusting. Buffet had only 6 choices on it and a salad and desert bar. Barely eatable. To go to the dining room you had to ...

When you first get to the port and see the big ship you say to yourself omg how big and beautiful it is until you get on it. The way the have people cattle in lines and it gets not better as you go on your cruise. We had 7 days of hell. It was extremely hot down in Mexico also that didn't help. Once you get into the terminal they have picture's you can take and then they sit you back ...

I am from California, and now live in Washington State. We travel monthly with our RV club, and this month decided to take a short cruise. We arrived in Ca a few days early to explore my old haunting grounds. Then boarded the Radiance on Monday. We arrived a few hours earlier than our boarding time, but was invited to go ahead and check in early, so we can start enjoying the trip. Check in ...
