The ship is one of the older ones, I believe it was built in 2002. The outside shows the age, but has been updated very nicely inside. The entire ship was very clean and nicely maintained. This cruise was most notable for the weather - it was cold, windy, and wet for most of the cruise. Really the only beautiful day was our Half Moon Cay day - so that was nice. But the seas were quite rough most of the time (it's great the ship has stabilizers) too. The steak house was fantastic little pricey but worth it the buffet needs work. Went on 2 excursions 1st too the myan ruins lots of walking and climbing so if you have back or leg issues I don't recommend, 2 vip Beach trip well worth the money food and staffing just fantastic. The live music around the ship was really good. The ship was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was so-so. This was my 3rd carnival cruise, 2nd out of JAX... first was the ecstasy, then sunshine out of Charleston then this ship again out of JAX.
