We took this cruise out of Tampa and traveled with a group of 13 friends.
Overall, we were pleased with the crew. Food quality was good to very good. We ate breakfast and dinner mostly in the Dining room. The Wait staff was great.
Our Cabin Steward was the best and we were very impressed with him.
I was VERY disappointed in the "Beach Escape" excursion in Costa Maya. The beach was ...
I have been lucky in life , traveled to 104 countries and been on over 50 cruises. I have never given a negative critique until now.Carnival Cruise line is the “we do not know how to communicate cruise line”, 5 star regarding lack of communication and who cares about the passenger.Problem started when I could not check in online. I spoke to a Carnival Consultant who advised that there was a ...
So this is my first cruise. Overall it isnt horrible. However, if you want a peaceful cruise this is not it. Unbelievably crowded and people saving lounge chairs for hours. Good luck finding a spot to sit and relax. Also, parents think since they are on a cruise most aren't watching their kids and letting them do whatever. Honestly with the amount of unattended kids and Crowdedness has made this ...
Overall a good experience for our 65th wedding anniversary ! We had some concerns regarding accessibility since both wife and I using walkers, but had no problem boarding or onboard. Boarding assistance was amazing. Boarding we were taken to elevator at our room, disembarking taken to curb with our luggage
Folding walkers to move in and out of cabin was bothersome but there was plenty of room ...
I usually don’t write reviews but This cruise was NOT worth the money spent. The food was not good anywhere even at the dinner restaurant. The drink package was not worth it because it took 30mins to get a drink each time because the bartenders are very slow since they get the same tip either way (auto grat), they were also rude. Service in the dining room was very bad, sat with an empty water for ...
Never cruise with Carnival!
I have been on quite a few cruises and always felt sad when the cruise was over, and I had to go back to every day’s life. Not this time! Everything bad you could imagine happened on this one, and this was not accidental, it was deliberately caused by the cruise company. But let’s list the topics one at a time.

This was our 3 time on Paradise. We live close to the port so it's a convenient vacation. I would say this cruise that the food was bland. Nothing to brag about. Our first evening in the main dining we had beef brisket which was delicious, but that is the only meal that really stuck with us. The ship was clean, staff friendly, entertainment was great (never had a bad experience on Carnival with ...
The good: Crew was excellent on this ship. All were friendly and professional. None of what I’m about to say is their fault.
The Carnival check in process is much better than it used to be pre-COVID. The Carnival Hub is an excellent tool for planning your days.
The bad: the internet for $110 (5 night cruise) simply stinks. It’s 2023. There has to be a faster internet than you can get here. ...
This was a family cruise that has had to be rescheduled 3 different times.

After having our 2 previous Panama Canal cruises canceled due to the pandemic, we finally made it on board. It was so nice being back on a ship again. This trip was all about relaxation. We turned Platinum on this cruise.
Tampa - Embarkation
The Pride was docked at terminal 3. Tampa is a pretty easy port to navigate. The parking desk is quite close to terminal 2 and 3. Terminal 6 has ...
