Carnival Review
Our first cruise and I said to my wife, trying to explain the level of failure and the level of care regarding the buffet quality is basically saying if Walmart had a buffet, this would have been it, and Luby’s would probably still have given them a run and still lost. The food was absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever seen attempted to be put as meals, and that’s ...
This cruise was pretty fun. I like cities and the cruise had an atmosphere of a city in which everyone was trying to have fun. In the way sardines in a can are trying to have fun together. The other guests were the only form of entertainment that was remotely enjoyable on board.
The crew was mediocre. While they clearly projected friendliness, they cut every corner possible and only smiled or ...
This is the sixth cruise we have taken with Carnival. This was BY FAR the worst cruise we have ever taken.
* The Valor appeared to be a run-down, aging ship. Stats show it to be 19 years old but appeared much older.
* We voiced our dissatisfaction to Guest Services mid-cruise but never received any follow up to our concerns.
* Our last cruise was aboard the Mardi Gras and it was great. ...
I chose this ship because the terminal was within driving distance. I took my brother on his first cruise. This was my 8th cruise, but the first on Carnival. We had a blast since we have fun regardless of situations. The service on this ship was nonexistent on the pool decks and in seating areas around the ship. I requested two twin beds in the cabin and this was not addressed before we boarded. ...
Just returned from 4 night cruise to Cozumel on the Valor from New Orleans. This was my 4th Carnival cruise. The 1st 3 were wonderful but I was very disappointed with this one. I’m a 45y/o woman traveling with 3 teenagers celebrating their high school graduation.
My biggest complaint was the lack of air conditioning in our cabin. We were on the 8th deck with a balcony. We noticed the heat as ...
Ship rocks and sways the entire time, so be ready for motion sickness. Necessities not available for purchases at the gift store on this ship, such as sunscreen or tampons.
The embarkation experience was a nightmare. We were first charged $100 to park in the parking desk in New Orleans, which would have not been an issue if there were parking spots. After we paid we drove around the parking ...
Worst vacation ever.
I have been on over 25 cruises and this is our last on Carnival.
The cabins were dirty. Hair from previous people all over bed and bathroom.
Sand and dirt all over floor
Dirty towels were under the bed.
I was afraid to touch anything.
No Covid precautious at all
The staff was the absolute worst it seemed like they were mad we were there.
NEVER ...
What a piece of junk! Needs refurbished, or at least fixed.
I never thought it possible for a cruise ships food to be so terrible. The biscuits resembled hardtack not actual biscuits. The crew is either complete novices, or imbeciles.
Dining service was cold and had no feeling. Food was terrible. The breakfast buffet was yesterday's leftovers, and the breakfast brunch in Washington dining ...
My husband and I just went on our honeymoon to Mexico on the Carnival Valor. The service provided by the crew was absolutely amazing but there are things to know about the cruise itself before deciding to go. My biggest problem was all the hidden fees. Before we even got on the ship they took a $100 deposit out of our account and then after the cruise is over you have to pay for expensive ...
Rooms were hot, couldn’t be fixed. 76.6.
They said they couldn’t do anything else.
Their idea of compensation was a bottle of wine.
CCL personal documentations were al false.
If my room had been then temperature they documented, we wouldn’t have had any
Customer service (ext 70530)was worse.... and really rude.
WILL NEVER GET ON THE VALOR AGAIN, not for sure we will cruise on ...
