Celebrity has become the new Carnival. No longer feels exclusive/upscale/great value
"Ate my share of pizza and cheeseburgers, (which I rarely eat at home-no bun/lots of veggie toppings/just a few fries, mayo has 0 carbs, ketchup high), which is always a good thing!Overall, a decent cruise but no longer an upscale, good value...."Read More

Had a wonderful time .Staff was really friendly .Food was great ,lots of choices .The entertainment was awesome .There was lots of activities .I thought there could have been more washrooms in busy areas .I advise anyone to reserve early for specialty dining rooms .I had imagined with that many passengers boarding and getting off would be a nightmare but was very well organized .Even after ...

A little worn down but has a special charm to it.

As a first time cruise, it was quite enjoyable. I know that a lot of more experienced cruisers don't like the ship apparently, but some of the reasons why people don't like it is why I enjoy the ship so much. The ship is quite obviously dated, but not so far back to where it's a bad thing. The late 2000s to early 2010s lounges and general design language is something I actually quite enjoyed on ...

Retreat Is Not a Luxury Experience

Let me start by noting we were fortunate to stay in the “Retreat” in an upper level suite. We originally booked this cabin (no Move Up) so perks, etc. described below are what come with booking. Check-in was quick (though we were misdirected a couple of time). There was a separate area for Retreat passengers with pastries and water/soda. There was no separate drop-off for Retreat luggage (more ...

Many thanks to the hard working and friendly crew of the Reflection! We all thought there was a big improvement in crew friendliness and quality of overall service from our cruise 1 year ago. This was our 15th cruise, 10th Celebrity cruise with our last cruise on the Ascent in December. This was week 1 of our B2B cruises on the Reflection. We decided to cruise for 14 days due to the extra air ...

Wife and I just completed our third sailing on the Reflection ('17,'18. Sailed back-to-back Apex/Equinox in '19) and first cruise since the pandemic. Wow, have things changed (just like everything else in the U.S.) compared to just 4,5 years ago, and not for the best, IMO. Pros: Ship was virtually the same. Clean, well-maintained, but there did seem to be a strong urine smell from the ...

Got back to cruising about 10 years ago and have cruised Celebrity exclusively (approx 10 cruises) since. I looked forward to being on the Reflection again after two consecutive cruises on the Edge. I have always liked the main dining room experience over the years. However on this cruise, I was a bit dissapointed. Waiter/Asst. Waiter service was okay. They took our order and delivered our ...

First, we very much enjoyed this cruise. This is, by our calculation, our 7th cruise we've taken on Celebrity out of 14 total over the course of approximately 17 years. We are committed to Celebrity. We appreciate the general vibe, the hospitality offered, cleanliness, and overall professionalism we experience on Celebrity. My wife is recently retired and I'm retiring in a few months and ...

4th time on Reflection 10 day cruise - Came home with COVID. Cabins poor furnishings. Cabins will not be refurbished until 2026 it can't be about $$$ with all the new ships Celebrity's launching more likely forcing people to Edge class ships without natural balconies. MDR food improving but staff service slow overworked. Oceanview cafe too many Indian dishes , raw chicken in one ...

We are long-time Celebrity cruisers in our 60s. This was a re-booked version of a 2021 cruise originally booked onboard in 2019, so we had all the perks plus a ton of onboard credit. In deciding whether to postpone again or go, we fully expected the experience to be different, the ports to possibly change and we understood what might happen if one of us tested positive. To reduce the risk we ...

This is our 3rd journey on the Reflection. What's not to love? The ship is easy to meander, we never feel lost. Blu as well as the MDR serve great food. The lounges range from wild and crazy to laid back and relaxing. Cafe al Bacio is my favorite mid-day spot for an Irish coffee and a fresh pastry. This time I didn't even use my free coupon for a scoop of Gelato. Not sure why, but there was never ...
