I just returned from the Celebrity Eclipse on a 12-night journey through Patagonia. I was very disappointed with the overall quality of this cruise in many ways. Having taken 41 cruises on different cruise lines, including some with Celebrity, I have ample references to comment on this trip.
First, I want to start by saying that it's not worth acquiring an upgrade to a suite. I acquired ...
This was my 20th cruise - 3rd with Celebrity. Food in MDR and buffet was delicious. Deluxe Balcony cabin was spacious for the 2 of us. The deck 15 that was covered in grass was awesome. The blown glass venue was nice.
There were 8 days at sea and I felt there were not enough planned activities (other than those targetted at selling you something). The production company sounded great ...
We chose to sail buenos to valparaiso, it afforded us good sailing days with daylight viewing of cape horn & beagle channel, from our starboard balcony.
Our 2nd cruise with celebrity, we enjoyed the variety of bars to party (silent disco) or chill.
We used the main dining room 4 nights of the 12, with our final night enjoying sushi on 5, sushi enhanced by the guidance of mohamed.

It seem a lack of check for Passengers who do not sanitize ther hands! Never see that before on other Cruise Co. Result a lot of people where sick at the end of the cruise : Coughing... We where not impress with night show... Only 1 restaurant a la carte and 1 buffet all other (Speciality) you need to pay for... I did like the Qsine one. One other thing is that we thought it will be much more ...
We just returned from a wonderful cruise from Buenos Aires to Valparaiso, Chile for 12 days. The scenery is spectacular and the wildlife the same. We did one penguin tour in Puerto Madryn - Punta Tomba with Animal Travels that we booked thru Viator. We only used one excursion from Celebrity, but opted for smaller groups and much better prices. The scenery in Ushuaia is gorgeous, fresh fresh air. ...
Antarctica has been on my bucket list for some time and this cruise met or even surpassed my expectations. The staff were amazing especially our efficient and attentive cabin steward and our waiters in the dining room. The food was excellent for the most part but I was a little disappointed with the buffet which we only frequented occasionally. This was our fourth Celebrity cruise and we always ...
After 22 Celebrity cruises it was an almost automatic choice.
We have always been delighted with the quality of food on Celebrity cruises. This time the food in the main dining room was mediocre at best and nowhere near what we were accustomed to. Even the speciality restaurants had lost any wow factor. As usual, all waiting staff were excellent but it must have been a challenge to stay ...
After half a dozen cruises with X with falling standards, we went to another company for 2 cruises but decided to give them another chance. Happy to say that in the main, things had got better.
Embarkation was good with the exception of needing to show paper copies of Esta, which neither couple knew about. Although I had copies on my phone I needed to locate them but wasn’t given a chance, with ...
We did the 2 day pre-cruise and 1 night post cruise stay at the JW Marriott in Quito. Our experience upon arrival at the Quito airport through being dropped off at the end of the trip was outstanding-taken care of every step of the way! We enjoyed a tour of Quito and visited the equator. Meals were included. There was a charter flight to take us to the Galapagos from Quito.
The ship, ...
I cannot say enough good things about the crew and naturalists aboard the Celebrity Xpedition. My husband and I were traveling together, and every experience was absolutely first rate. Traveling in the Galapagos is strenuous, and the crew on the Xpedition made every effort to be informative and to see to our comfort. 10/10 would do this trip again.
There were forty passengers aboard our ship, ...
