Wanted to get away from Midwest winter and experience beautiful new ship. Unfortunately chose Spring Break week
which meant Fort Lauderdale was packed with many other ships besides ours leaving Sunday. Traffic from our hotel
was awful but we finally got there. Embarkation was smooth and efficient. Since we were Concierge class we were
able to have a sit down lunch onboard ship at the ...
The Celebrity Ascent is a stunning ship with beautiful design in most areas. It has a modern, upscale feel that's truly enjoyable. However, there were a few shortcomings that surprised us, especially considering this is a new Celebrity ship.
One frustration was the theater. We waited in line for a show in the top section of the Club, only to discover it had limited visibility. The layout seems ...
Second week, new room due to excessive noise from midnight to 3:00am under Craft Social Bar on deck 4. Moved to deck 11 aft, super easy process, clothes stay on hangers load up suitcase with the rest of your stuff and walk off the ship for the turnaround at security check.
Back on board in 20 minutes or less, up the elevator and tada luggage and clothes are on the bed. Put everything back ...
What can you really say about a stateroom where the bedding had obviously not been changed from the previous guests. We didn't realize it the day of embarkmentas the sign in our room said, "not ready yet, will be back at 1pm" though the bed had already been made. We dropped our bags and headed out to the pool (where you will absolutely never find a lounger unless you are a very early riser) When ...
Frequent cruiser; been on Carnival, RC, VV, NCL, MSC, in addition to Celebrity. Entertainment was fantastic; food was as good as you can expect on a cruise; ship was beautiful; staff was great; cabins well laid-out; embarkation was painless; all for a good price (we paid about $1k each for a balcony room).
Only 3 complaints - so minor as to be laughable:
1. Toilet paper sucked. I know it's ...
We were on the Celebrity Constellation for the 9 night New Orleans and Western Caribbean cruise. We chose Aqua Class because we wanted access to the Blu Restaurant. We are 70+ with some mobility issues so we took portable rollators and didn't leave the ship at ports. We had been to all the ports several times and, because it's difficult for us to get on and off the ship, we chose to use it as ...
This was our first cruise on Celebrity since 2006. We sailed on the Constellation to Canada/New England and had a great cruise, so we were excited to return to Celebrity. This was a probative cruise for our bookings (B2B) in Australia/New Zealand in March/April 2025. Our excitment was quickly tempered as we embarked. First issue, we made the mistake of adding Premier Access to our reservation, ...
This was our fourth cruise with Celebrity in the past year. We knew before leaving that the Constellation had not been Revolutionized but still had high hopes. The ship is in good shape in almost all areas. The solarium pool area has many rust spots around the pool and overhead and broken windows overhead. The aft windows in San Marco dining room were horrendous. They looked like they had not ...
Old Ship, Older Cruise Port Terminal. This was an issue for those that used they own vehicle to the port. Never received notification from Celebrity that they was no parking garage at this terminal. Fast Embarkation Process.
Cabin – Old furniture including a couch that had many rips. Limited storage and counter space. Nice shower with glass doors vs a curtain and a nice large ...
We just completed (Feb 2024) a five day cruise on Celebrity Summit, from Miami, with port calls in Nassau and Cozumel. I was very excited when we booked the cruise last September, but became apprehensive after reading some of the reviews on cruise critic. However, I am happy to report that we truly enjoyed our five days on the Summit. From the moment we stepped on the ship, to the moment we left ...
