From Mumbai to Rome on the worst cruise ever

Review for a Africa Cruise on Costa neoRiviera

We had previously traveled with Costa and it was just wonderful. Hoping for a similar experience, we booked this trip with great difficulty. Costa would not return e-mails or phone calls with our travel agent. They shoved a comfort package up our nose, saying we could not have the room without the package. Our room steward was wonderful. The swimming pool was very small and the hot tub was ...

We have just returned from a back to back middle east cuise sailing on the costa Neo-rivierra for a total of 30 nights. The first week was spent sailing around the UAE and then a 23 night crossing from Dubai to Genova in Italy. The following is our opinion on this cruise experience. We try to be fair with our viewpoints on every cruise we do, other passengers on this cruise may have a different ...

This was our first cruise with Costa and whilst we enjoyed our holiday overall we thought the Costa NeoRiviera was poor in comparison with other cruise companies who we have travelled with. Arrived at Dubai Cruise Terminal at 8am and was not allowed to embark until 7pm - yet passengers who were embarking for the same cruise itinerary when we disembarked were allowed to do this at 9.30am!!! ...

A real Neo step forward for Costa

Just returned from a very good cruise around the Persian Gulf aboard the Costa neoRiviera. I like the older smaller ships (previously I had sailed on the Costa Voyager and Allegra, both were fine ships, just in need of a little love and attention) and this is what Costa have provided for the Riviera. A subtle makeover (in contrast to the larger, newer Costa fleet) this for me really hits the mark. ...

Firstly, my first time flying with Emirates, but guaranteed it won’t be my last. I got a requested upgrade to fly out Business Class at what looked to be a heavily discounted price. What an experience- it’s the first time I’ve ever been on a plane, had a holiday and could not wait to do the return flight! The added bonus was that Business Class also entitled me to a free chauffeur driven car from ...

I am a 55-year-old American professor of literature who has been working in Dubai for eight-and-a-half years. My wife is a 47-year-old high-school math teacher from the Philippines. The local schools are closed for three weeks during the holidays and we wanted to get away for awhile. We travelled extensively last summer by plane and will do so again next June: the time-saving convenience of taking ...

I have thought long and hard about this cruise which I have to start of by saying cost £1000 per person with return flights from London with B.A.[who were great by the way] and included 3 nights accommodation in Dubai -[Winchester grand apartments again great] all included-therefore a great deal and well worth the price however my comments are to be on the cruise its self-first and foremost the ...

We booked an inside guarantee cabin at short notice for this 7 night Middle East cruise and were pleasantly surprised to have been given an outside cabin on Deck 8, as were are friends also travelling on this cruise. Since we were driving up from Muscat, we decided to park at the cruise terminal inside Port Rashid which wasn’t an issue, although we did need to provide a copy of our passports and ...
