Who goes on Pullmantur cruise ships?

Primarily Spanish speakers, although these cruises are sold to the international market, too. Expect a wide range of ages and a lot of families during school vacations. If you've ever been on a Spanish beach in peak season, expect that experience to be replicated onboard; the concept of personal space is different in Southern Europe, and people don't mind noisy crowds.

Do I have to dress up on a Pullmantur cruise?

No, casual is the order of the day. Although people do make more of an effort in the evenings, you don't need to bring any fancy duds with you.

Is everything free on Pullmantur cruises?

Mostly. Pullmantur is all-inclusive, so most drinks, food in the main dining rooms and buffets and crew tips are all covered. You can upgrade to a premium drinks package if you want premium spirits and wines.

You will pay extra for specialty dining, Wi-Fi and shore excursions.

What are Pullmantur’s most popular activities?

Expect a more traditional array of cruise activities, as Pullmantur's ships are fairly old so you won't find water parks and laser mazes. During the day, passengers gravitate to the pools, though you'll find people in the card rooms and in the casino if its open. Kids spend lots of time in the kids' clubs onboard. By night, things liven up; after dinner, Spaniards enjoy dancing so the nightclubs are busy late into the night.

Why go with Pullmantur?

  • Spain's largest cruise line but suitable for English speakers.
  • Typical Spanish lifestyle, with late dining and lively evenings.
  • Affordable, all-inclusive cruising on midsized ships.

Best for: Spanish-speaking bargain hunters and anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine

Not for: Cruisers looking for the most modern ships and big-ship amenities

We did as a couple the same cruise 3 years ago with Pullman`s Zenith and even if we would not expect luxury from this company overall the trip was nice. Being in Panama again and counting this is the only option... Read More

Two weeks of being spoiled!

We chose the cruise because of three good experiences with Pullmanturs. We are British, but both speak Spanish, so there was no language problem - not that there would have been. All the crew are at least... Read More
