Wurzburg is home to Residenz, a stunning former palace that has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site
The city had to be rebuilt after the war, so it's fairly modern and lacks some of the charm of other German cities
Though most are not in their original form, history lovers will find plenty of interesting sights in Wurzburg
Currency & Best Way to Get Money?
Currency is the euro. Ships dock on the south side of the city, and there are no ATMs in the immediate area (the closest is on Virchowstrasse). You will find a bank across from the Residenz, and there are many banks and ATMs in the city center near the tourist office.
Language?
The language is German, but many people speak English -- particularly because this is a university town.
