Inaugural New Orleans Cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wonder

This cruise far exceeded my expectations and any other cruise I have ever sailed on. We departed from the Port of New Orleans on the Inaugural sailing on February 7, 2020. Our party was 3 adults- 2 adults and our 21 yr. old daughter. This was our first Disney cruise, though I have been to Disney World 64 times, Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. We had a deluxe family verandah. The cabin was ...

Overpriced Carnival cruise for children

My 3 year old had the time of her life, but I was disappointed. The Disney Oceaneer club for kids was fantastic and the nursery was also good. The adult entertainment and activities were awful. The buffet was better than average, but the main dining room, Pinocchio's Pizza, and the grill was bad to mediocre. If you don't have a rewards status on Disney, you can forget about booking any specialty ...

Amazing first trip on Disney cruise line to Panama Canal!

This was the first time I have sailed with DCL. The Wonder looked beautiful coming off its 2017 refurbishment. 14 nights was a gamble for a cruise line I have never sailed before but Disney lived up to it's reputation for excellence. Of note, this particular cruise had only 300 children aboard. It was a running joke among the crew. It made for what was probably a much quieter cruise experience ...

Kids programs were like babysitting, more than a structured, engaging program!

For the price, my family and I were disappointed with our first ever Disney Cruise. Pros: 1) We really enjoyed the shows. The Frozen performance, in particular, was spectacular! It was truly Broadway-caliber! 2) The rotating dinner was very special. You rotate between three restaurants: Triton's, Tatiana's Place, and the Animator's Palate. Each had a different type of cuisine and really ...

Beautiful Ship, Fantastic Crew

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Wonder

First Time Cruiser • Age 40s

Activities: I had such high hopes for the Kids club- I particularly liked that Disney allowed all children from 3-12 to be in the same club so my daughters could be together. Unfortunately the clubs were so incredibly large that it was overwhelming for my four year old. She became separated from her older sister and there was not enough staff to help her to find an activity that she could ...

This was my 11th cruise and my first time with Disney. I thought the ship was smooth, I hardly felt it moving. I did not feel as if we were over crowded with children and I enjoyed the characters and shows. I loved the fact that there was no a casino on the ship and I did not have to smell the awful smoke. I loved the decor and it seemed the staff was not over worked or cranky. Since my family ...

Don't waste your money. Food is terrible! Service is Bad!

The food was the worst food I've ever had on a cruise. We sailed on Disney several times about 15 years ago. Over the past 10 years we've exclusively sailed with Royal Caribbean. Our granddaughter is 5 years old so we thought we'd take her on a Disney Cruise. Definitely is not the Disney learned to love and know. Food is very bad (I think the fish was frozen) and the service both in the ...

Wonderful Staff, Lots of Seating Areas, Always Something Going On

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Disney Wonder

I have previously sailed on the Disney Dream (September 2017) and wanted to try a classic ship (March 2018). Although overall I preferred the Dream, I did enjoy the longer cruise. On my week long cruise we visited Castaway Cay on two occasions, had three sea days and visited San Juan. We were supposed to visit St Maarten but there was a storm and so we did the two Castaway Cay visits ...

Family cruise with 4 other adults besides my wife and I along with 4 grandchildren. We had a wonderful experience. There was an issue with incorrect pricing of a third party shore excursion that was ultimately resolved to our satisfaction. Our interactions with al the Disney staff was exceptional in my opinion. Our stateroom steward provided phenomenal service to each stateroom in our group of ...

We booked this cruise for an extended family trip, including one child - a three year old. Disney does a great job with kids and the staff is incredibly patient and considerate with children, including the very young ones who are prone to temper tantrums, over-stimulation, picky eating and more. The food is geared toward children - nothing too spicy or unusual. The activities are mostly aimed ...
