This was our third Disney cruise. We have been on the Fantasy, the Magic (post-dry dock) and now the Wonder. I was second guessing booking on the Wonder as I know that dry dock is coming up for her and I was thinking that maybe she would feel sort of run down. I could not have been more wrong. Everything seemed to be immaculate and kept in excellent condition. When she goes into dry dock, they ...

I have been a DVC member since 1994 and last week was the first Disney cruise with my wife, no kids. Maybe I'm a little bias here but I felt the cruise ship was excellent. It may not be one of those newer and bigger ships, been on some of those, but it still has it. The room was bigger than most cruise line ships, gotta love the split bathroom. It was clean and nothing I could see was worn or ...

My husband and I went on our first cruise on the Disney Wonder along with our daughter and her family that had traveled with Disney once before. From the boarding process, our suite, to the great time we had on the ship was Top Notch. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially our Concierge Rodrigo! However I must say that the" Golden Mickey's Show" was just plain awful. We didn't ...

First cruise for us. It served as our honeymoon. Overall it exceeded every expectation we had. It was well worth the money. Our six year old had a great time and we didn't want to leave. We continued our honeymoon for a couple days after the cruise at disney world and south florida but if we could do it again we'd take a longer cruise as nothing we did after that compared to how awesome the cruise ...

Boarding was very smooth, overall wait of 30 minutes. When we entered the ship, I got goosebumps as they announced "Disney Wonder, please welcome the Biggs family!" As we entered the ship, we headed out for the Mickey pool. We found a great spot to watch our kids play and began to relax immediately. Our room was ready at 2:00. When we walked in, we were shocked by the amount of space we had. I had ...

6-10 Cruises

Age 40s

My husband and I (30s) and our 2 children (1 and 4) just returned from a great vacation on the Disney Wonder. This was the 6th cruise for DH & I but only the second since kids, and the first on Disney. As others have done, I will break down my review by category. Embarkation at Miami: A breeze. After the horror stories I'd heard from folks who sailed on other lines, we were prepared for the ...

Embarkation/Check In process We drove to the port (and others in the party were transferred). We experienced some confusion on the part of the staff when we were checking in since we had some members of the party with us, and others checking in at a different time. They were unable to process check-ins for partial rooms without a lot of grief. It took a while, but we eventually got it ...

Embarkation-super easy, quick and painless Stateroom- was great, double bed that could be split, sofa that turned into a bed, and upper bunk brought down during turn down service. We did not see much of our stateroom host. But he was quietly efficient. Great towel animals! Dining: Really awesome. Food was great! If you don't like something they will replace it. Servers do magic tricks for ...

This was our first cruise, first time out of the country, etc. So, I didn't know what to expect but I too had read a lot of traveler reviews and this ship scored fairly well so lets just say that I had high expectations. We boarded the ship at 11:30 and everything went smoothly. I do have to say that they are properly staffed for check in which is a plus. NOthing starts your vacation off to a bad ...

Just returned from the inaugural 11-night voyage on the Disney Wonder. What an excellent experience! From the beginning pick up at the airport until we were deposited at the airport for our return, it was a seamless and stress-free trip. All you must do is put your Disney luggage tags on your baggage (at your home) and when you arrive in Orlando you go to the Disney counter at the end of the ...
