Picked Carnival Conquest after a disaster Caribbean cruise with MSC, wanted to try a new line and 3 new islands for us on this itinerary hit the spot.
Embarkation was a total breeze, 30 minutes from shuttle drop off to on board. Very impressed, seems things go a lot quicker if you just turn up at your allotted time. Disembarkation was the opposite, as per usual, delays on getting off made ...
We choose this cruise because of the itinerary. There was only one sea day and the rest were ports of call with beautiful beaches.
We booked and Grand Suite, 7928, and it was perfect. We even got new furniture for the room in one port. The A/C worked very well, first time ever we turned the thermostat up because it was too cold.
The bed and linens were exceptional in quality.
The ...
wanted to try a different ship and port......conquest was nice... staff friendly....food ok-with exception of the steak house!!!! It was over the top!!! the prime steak house was very nice wait staff very eager and helpful food was out of this world!!!! The chef came to the table and I could not have been more pleased!!! The "art of dessert" was fantastic!!! we will do this again! This meal would ...
This is our third cruise and I couldn't be more happier with the service we received. This is the first time we stayed in a balcony suite and we weren't disappointed with how spacious the cabin was and the great ocean view from the balcony. Our Cabin steward Michael made our trip so much more stress free by making sure all our requests were met throughout the week. The food was amazing with tons ...
Overall it was a great cruise. The weather was almost perfect and I haven't had a bad cruise yet.
The ship's crew did a great job and the food was good. I think NCL does have a better food selection in their buffet but I always found more than enough to eat.
I had my son and granddaughter with me and they enjoyed their cruise too.
My only real gripe came after the cruise. I was ...
Mat, the cruise director, was phenomenal. He is so full of energy and so positive. He was the perfect person to keep the ship going.
The adults in our group enjoyed the casino a lot (someone please win our money back). We had so many people that talked and laughed with us. I could list something special about each of them, but that would take all day. I do want to mention some of the names of ...
Because my wife is a teacher, and my daughter a student, we cruise based on time (school breaks only) and price (less expensive is better). We wound up getting an incredible deal on the price of this cruise (less than $90/person/day for an oceanview), and booked it without really worrying about itinerary, although we were excited to see two new-to-us ports, St. Martin (where my wife had gone on ...
The beds in our cabin were uncomfortable and the A/C was subpar. We normally have very comfortable matrices on Carnival cruises. Public bathrooms and areas need a deep cleaning and more attention though out the cruise. Many of the deck chairs need replacing. We noticed stains and tears in the Serenity deck clam shell cushions. Staff was very friendly and attentive to guest. The activities and ...
We don't have a must-book-with cruise company. We book cruises after looking at prices and flight schedules, and haven't cruised with carnival in 2 years and could tell differences. No tablecloths in formal dining room, not enough waiters and bartenders in pool areas and casinos, servers in dining room didn't seem to care if they served us or not. What happened to the captains cocktail party? A ...
We went on this cruise as a group. One of our group had cruised Carnival many times. I was disappointed in the food. It was almost the same food each day. Not many new items added. I understood that this ship had been recently remodeled. It still looked tired and worn. The Lido deck needs more servers to help clear/clean tables. Some of the staff in all areas were not very friendly. The ...
