I chose this cruise because of the fact my tour group was interested in gathering with like minded people. I couldn't believe the odor on this ship (smelled like urine and a stale ashtray!) The ship stunk! The food was terrible and disorganized especially in the ocean view cafe. Nothing was where is should be, nothing made sense. Hamburgers and hotdogs outside were cold and laying in tins, ...
We decided on Celebrity Summit because we wanted a higher end cruise with fewer children. We decided to go Suite Class and it was worth every penny. From the time we arrived at Port to the time we left, we were treated first class. We got to bypass all the lines and had a personal Butler and Concerige that were so awesome and helpful. Everyone on the ship knows what customer service is all about. ...
Was a little hesitant to book this cruise based on some of the negative reviews regarding the condition of the ship.
Well, don't worry. The ship is in great shape. Of course some of the furniture could be replaced. Specifically in the buffet. It looks like they didn't update that in the last drydock. But by no means is the ship looking old and dingy.
The staff was by far some of the best ...
We were informed from a co-worker about Celebrity Cruises (which we'd never hear of) and after talking we decided to give it a go. The atmosphere was very relaxing, there were employees everywhere and would assist in any questions that we had. When we had an issue with the shower not getting hot water, our room attendant had maintenance there and they swapped out the shower faucet while we were ...
Cruised on the Celebrity Summit 14 months ago. It was a very good experience. I do not know what has happened but, if this one was our first cruise. We would never have cruised again. Easter weekend, 2018, this was our 60th cruise. Not with Celebrity. We are priority and it might as well been our first boarding. Entered the building a few min. after 12 noon. No priority line when you walk in. You ...
I chose the cruise for the itinerary; just good fortune that it was on the Summit. Four nights, 2 stops: Bahamas and Key West. I really wanted to go to Key West; Bahamas I've been to before. Key West is, in a word, Bohemian. Colorful, shop after shop, restaurants galore of various quality with historic places of interest and museums here and there. Interesting characters hanging about (one ...
Chose this as a short getaway break from the winter and cold. The Nassau stop was not important and we were only off the ship for a short time. Key West is always fun and we have friends there. Having been on the Infinity for a Panama cruise I already knew I would like the layout and size of Summit and I was not disappointed. Nice group of cruisers mostly our age and very few children on board ...
I needed to get out of town for a couple of days and this cruise was the perfect opportunity to enjoy a couple of nights of spoiled adventure. I chose the Royal Suite, however, I was upgraded to the Penthouse suite the night before the cruise. Amazing! The room was absolutely everything I could hope for. Lots of space and room to relax, the balcony was 1000 square feet with a bath tub. We ...
Our FIRST cruise.
Wonderful cruise ship. Food was excellent. Suite was excellent.
Chip our butler was amazing. Service was perfect.
Ship does move...yes you can feel it back and forth at times. We had no problems with any seasickness.
Shows were decent. Comedian had been on Beverly Hills 90210 and other tv shows. Sit in the front for interaction. There's plenty of seating. ...
We were very excited to go on our first Celebrity ship. As we celebrated our Anniversary this ship is most definitely relaxing. If you're looking for a party cruise, this is not it. As we walked into the ship we were welcomed with Champagne and Mimosas which was very nice. The ship is beautiful especially the Atrium. We had an inside cabin and it was very spacious and clean. The only problem we ...
