First of all, it seemed like a totally different ship to me than the Mariner we sailed a year ago from Auckland to LA. The staff were not friendly and indifferent. I've cruised before, but this was my first cruise with Royal Caribbean. The Service that we had on the ship was stupendous, especially our room steward. She made a concerted effort at learning our names on the first day of the cruise, she used them every day there after. I really enjoyed the Mariner Of The Seas. Embarkation was organized and went smoothly, and they had coffee and cookies on a table -- that was a nice touch. Line was long but went fast. Got on board and what a big ship. We went to our room to drop our stuff off, and I couldn't believe the room.
