The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

Ship overall – it is showing it’s age. Rust on the outside, the banisters in the pool area need refinishing as they are chipped and worn. Carpets did not seem to be stained and had normal wear and tear. The ship was very clean. Dining – Unless you selected an Indian or Asian dish, the food was lacking in any kind of spice or flavor, so table salt went a long way. On one night, one of the ...

Embarkation was super easy because of the option to check in with expedited check in. I highly recommend taking advantage of it any time it is offered. I had heard so many things, good and bad, about Enchantment. I went into this cruise with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved the ship. Yes it is small. Yes it is old. But it has soooo much charm. It is super ...

My two adult daughters and I chose this cruise because we wanted a quick, economical get-away, we love to cruise, and the dates worked well with one daughter's college holiday break. We had never before sailed Royal Caribbean, nor had we sailed from Galveston before. We weren't looking for one of the new enormous ships, and we didn't even expect to get off the boat at the one stop (been there ...

I picked Royal Caribbean because it sailed out of Galveston, TX and the family would be on the boat New Years eve. Quite a few families also had the same idea and there were a lot of young people on the boat. The children in our group had a great time. We had great service and that was the consensus of our all family members . We dined at the early 5:30 pm seating at a round table for 11 ...

We just got off this 5 day cruise. The staff is so good and friendly. They treat you well everywhere you go. You can tell that this is a well run ship that stresses customer service. I never noticed the rust or the oldness, the ship is clean and well taken care of despite the oldness of the ship. This is our first Royal cruise after 5 on Carnival, I thought they were about the same ...

Great Cruise Experience

The Enchantment of the Seas isn't Royal Caribbean's newest or largest ship by any means. It is however a great ship that is well run, efficient and most definitely fun. For a great relaxed couple cruise the Enchantment of the Seas is a great choice. While it lacks the water slides and other features of the bigger ships it makes up for it with a relaxed vibe that just works. The entertainment ...

I was on a 5-night cruise out of Galveston with ports in Costa Maya and Cozumel. This was my second time on Enchantment (my first was in 2006). This trip was a girls' trip with three of my friends. We stayed at Harbor House hotel the night before the cruise and parked at her sister hotel, The Galvez ($20 for 5 nights, garage parking). The hotel provided a free shuttle to and from the ...

My husband and I just returned from our 5 day cruise to Progreso and Cozumel. It was a nice relaxing time. Boarding was painless . We enjoyed drinks and meeting people right away . Staff were extremely friendly and always will to help . The ship itself is one of the oldest in Royal Caribbean’s fleet and it shows in areas . Each day one of the pools was closed for some type of repair . Bummer ...

Wife and I took our very first cruise 19 years ago for our honeymoon and were immediately hooked. Sailed on RCI's Sovereign of the Seas and had a wonderful experience. Have been on several cruises since, but all with Carnival as the price difference always made it much more manageable to travel with our kids (2nd marriage for both so we have hers, mine and ours). Decided to surprise her for ...

Very Fun Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas in 2019 out of Galveston

I really enjoyed the EOS that left out of Galveston TX. Easy on and easy off the ship and cabin was fine. Food was OK but not the greatest ever. We did not get a drink package and we did carry on 2 bottles of red wine but only drank 1/2 of one of them and took the other one home. We played blackjack and lost $$ but it was fun. There is plenty to do on the ship and we just like to pool and ...
