MSC was chosen by a travel director thru family members. It was only a 4 day cruise. We had fun as a family, but there were too many negatives to go on this line again. We are not that experienced - 2 Norwegian and 1 Carnaval.

It seems I’ve sailed on two cruises with MSC: my first and my last.
Problems:
1. Poor communication. Boarding tenders was not announced. No warning of 7:30 lineup. It resulted in a huge missed prepaid reservation. By the time we were shuttles to the harbor, there were only a few hours available. Worst cruise experience ever.

Sometimes we waited a lot in the bars to be catered for by lack of waiters
It was difficult to eat at the buffet for the amount of passengers and many days, after a long day of excursion, we had to eat outside the restaurant, sitting on a sunbed because it was impossible to find a free table.

We just came back from 7 night Baltic Sea cruise on MSC Fantasia. It was our 4th cruise.
MSC Fantasia has a low score on this site. This is really unfair. MSC is a little different from other cruise line, mostly is the drinking package. Other than that, it is a great ship and great cruise.
