As my title says it was so much better than I had been expecting from someof the reviews I had read. Getting on board at Southampton was a piece of cake, our balcony cabin on deck 6 was spotless and Bobby our steward couldnt have done more to help us(even reminding us that we had walked past our cabin :) ).The food in the windjammer was always hot and there was always plenty to chose from.I didnt ...

Being this our 3rd cruise and our friends 1st, we had the most wonderful time, my husband and friends husband are both wheelchair users and were catered for very good, the staff were very helpful and friendly and we managed to disembark every port we visited and used the special shuttle buses laid on for us which was a bonus, our staterooms were spacious and spotlessly clean with an ocean view on ...

The whole experience was fantastic. From getting on board the ship to disembarking at the end was made so easy for us. No hassle at the port. No hassle getting on the ship. No hassle with heavy luggage. No hassle finding the stateroom. (cabin) No hassle finding wonderful food. No hassle with excursions. You just meet up at a specified time and follow your guide to the coach waiting just off the ...

Boarded the adventure of the seas with some trepidation as we had had issues with RC before, check in was ok and just a short wait to get into our outside stateroom, luggage arrived in good time, ok good start i thought, then downhill, cabin steward just managed a grunt each day despite trying to have a conversation with him, nothing, other stewards were fine, next was a quick meal in the ...

Comparing this cruise on Adventure of the seas to other cruises taken Positives Great quality food; Friendly, happy, helpful staff; Very clean; Best shows we have seen; Cabin was comfortable. Not so positive Windjammer cafe too crowded and no Al la Carte dining lunch times on port days; ship a bit tired; Balcony not as nice as other ships; Charge for shuttle transfers; Only noisy small cafe ...

First time cruise, my wife and I decided to do it this year so booked Adventure Of The Seas for the 14 nights going to Spain, Madeira, Canary islands and Portugal, first impressions of the ship were good, staff were polite and the food was tasty and plenty off it, pool deck was nice, hot tubs were hot, gym was great, even the drink prices were reasonable no more than you would expect to pay in a ...

Disappointing

My wife and I have only ever cruised with Royal Caribbean over the years and have diamond status, so I guess we can be classed as loyal customers. We have been on the AOS before and had a great time but this one was different. First of all boarding was delayed due to the norovirus being on board. Automatically most people would be concerned and we were no different. However, we understand that ...

Great Cruise

Totally enjoyed myself being a solo traveler. Met lots of really nice people. Ship offered numerous activities each day, including art seminars at auctions through Park West Gallery. Excursions were good, but Gijon was a waste of time and money. I hope they take that new port off of the itinerary, as it was a waste of time. Most of the passengers complained. Entertainment was fantastic!!! Went ...

My husband and I sailed on the Adventure from 9/28/2014 until 10-12-2014. I love the longer cruises because you can really relax. The weather was perfect for the whole trip. The cruise director, Bobbi was fun, professional and visible. Between announcements from the captain and the cruise director we were continually updated on happenings around the ship and about the ports. Our room steward, ...

Standards have fallen on RCI

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

It was 5 years since we went on RCI. We felt there had been a lot of cost cutting particularily in the food. The cabin, ship and public areas were spotless and the staff were always helpful. The design of the ship means there is no outside area to eat which meant that most passengers would go into The WIndgammer. It was hard to find a seat, very stuffy and had a very poor selection of food. The ...
