Amazing crew and beautiful ports
"We prefer the Azamara small ship experience due to the personal attention and the ship’s ability to access ports larger ships cannot.Because the ship is small, getting around from on end to the other was quick and easy...."Read More

Amazing crew and beautiful ports

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Azamara Quest

We picked this cruise because of the itinerary. The ship is old but very beautiful, food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Every crew member did everything possible to make sure our experience was top rated. The ports of call were mostly interesting, especially Bordeaux, Bilbao (the Rioja region) Porto and Lisbon. We prefer the Azamara small ship experience due to the personal ...

Our second Azamara cruise, still really like this line

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Quest

We chose this cruise due to the Perry Golf package, which was very well organized and executed. We like Azamara because it is smaller, and particularly because of their focus on destination immersion, with late night and overnight port stays. That said, we did have some changes to our itinerary, in particular we left Edinburgh earlier than initially scheduled, which required us to change ...

Trans Atlantic Azamara Style

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Quest

This was our fourth cruise with Azamara, in fact the only cruise line we have ever been on. We decided on a transatlantic, because what could be better than cruising into the old port of Montreal where we live! My father also did a similar trek ages ago when he came to Canada from Ireland. We did not stay in Southampton before the cruise began, we flew into Heathrow, and taxied to the ship. We ...

Good -- but room for improvement

With a little more planning and attention to detail by the Cruise Director and his team, this could have had a five star rating but opportunities were missed. The inadequacy of planning was most noticeable in the failure to ensure that lectures about port information were given before the port itself was reached. Quite why some sea days had no port lectures scheduled, resulting in them being ...

Southampton to Montreal Repositioning

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Azamara Quest

We booked this cruise almost 23 months before sailing, as the ship was being repositioned to Montreal for a Charter. We paid for an inside cabin, but were upgraded to a V2 balcony cabin. Although we rarely used the balcony due to poor weather on the Atlantic crossing, it was useful for taking early morning photos when we arrived in port. The weather in all ports of call was good, more than be ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Quest

Azamara Quest 07/22/16 We have over 30 cruises with most of the major cruise lines and this 11 night Baltic cruise was one (if not the best) cruise vacations that we have ever taken. It was our 1st time on Azamara and we chose an interior cabin. Other than the lousy internet service and very limited complimentary beer choices, I really have nothing to complain about nor did I hear of any ...

Amazing Cruise! I will post an in depth trip report on Cruise Critic, however here will be my quick review. This was a special trip and we picked Azamara to give us that special emphasis and they did not disappoint. We traveled without the kids and We definitely would book with Azamara again. Embarkation - A breeze, literally, we walked in, approached a waiting representative, she took our ...

It’s been two weeks so it’s time I write this review! A little background first so you have a point of reference on where this is coming from. I (Todd) just turned the big five-oh and Troy (husband) is in his late 40’s. Our cruise history is mostly Neptune suites on HAL up until around 2006 and then Sky and Celebrity suites on Celebrity for the past 10 years with two Windstar thrown in there. ...

A beautiful ship with excellent attention to detail

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Azamara Quest

We chose to sail with Azamara as we wanted to cruise the Baltic area and were looking for a small ship. The Quest was the perfect size for us and we will definitely choose to sail with them again. The recent refurbishment means the ship looks beautiful. If you are looking for lavish Broadway style shows and 20 activities to choose from on days at sea this won't be the ship for you. It's also ...

Great ports; tiny rooms

We chose Azamara for the Baltic because of the itinerary and docking locations. On that point, they delivered. The only city we didn't dock right in town was Stockholm. First the good: The staff and crew was friendly, professional and helpful. Morale seemed to be good, which was passed on to the passengers. We had a family emergency back home while on board and Yasmin the Concierge was very ...
