England & Wales for 28 days, then the Celebrity Eclipse Transatlantic This wonderful 44 day trip was planned for about two years. We wanted to visit key places were our ancestors came from in Britain, as well as other great places. We booked the cruise about two years ago as the icing on the cake of the Britain drive tour. We only had to fly across the Atlantic in one direction, which was ...

Very nice cruise, smooth sailing, fun passengers. Mynard, cabin attendant kept room stocked with supplies. Breakfast Room Service was excellent. Evening shows were very entertaining. The group, something, “Four” was outstanding. Can’t remember their first name. 4 young men singing “oldies” they also were on Reflection last year. Didn’t like the extra fee to use the sauna. I’m Elite, in Concierge, ...

The Eclipse is a beautiful and clean ship. Food was OK, nothing outstanding.

I wanted to take this cruise to satisfied four wants being met by the itinerary. I was raved to by past travelers that Celebrity was way above other cruise lines in Food, entertainment, and customer service. I found the cruise no better than any other cruise I had been on. The entertainment, for me, was sub par. I have seen so many air acrobats, I don't want to see another one. Jayne was good ...

Great Transatlantic Cruise

We enjoy all the sea days and activities on transatlantic cruises for a relaxing and comfortable vacation. My husband is partially handicapped so cruises with a lot of ports are difficult for him. The crew was very helpful and supportive of his needs. We upgraded to Aqua class for this cruise and were not disappointed. The food and service in the Blu dining room were superb. The entertainment ...

Great ship, great cruise

We chose this cruise because some we knew others who were going to be on the Eclipse. We had a great time, the weather was good and the Atlantic was very calm, maybe 5-6 foot waves at most for the whole cruise. This cruise gave us the chance to catch up with friends and spent time together, especially during sea days. Disembarking at the various ports went smoothly. Even though the ship appeared ...

Just a little background. We are 4 star HAL mariners in our mid 60s and grew up listening to rock and roll music from the mid 60s on. We have been on 9 HAL cruises over the past 4 years on 5 different ships. However, in those years we have noticed HAL’s onboard entertainment has steadily dwindled to where there are only the evening shows, a variety of different types of trivia and on rare ...

Great Ship - Bad Production Shows

We love Celebrity but this time we were disappointed. The production shows were just plain bad as were most of the other entertainers. The British female singer was fantastic and the comedian at the end of the cruise was terrific. The cost of a martini has gone up to $14 USD. Wow! Nassau as a port should be just ignored - don't even bother to get off the ship. Overnight in New York was very ...

November North Atlantic TA

Cross Atlantic with stops in Boston, NYC, Bermuda and Nassau. Excellent entertainment. Jane Curry was awesome, and active throughout the ship, while she was onboard. Can't wait to see if she is entertaining on our future Celebrity cruises, since she is exclusively entertaining on Celebrity. Food was great and the table staff so good that we asked, and was granted, to be assigned to their table on ...

This cruise was made by the entertainment . We had Jayne Curry , Just John andPaul , Jessie Hamilton , Flashback four and a few more great artists . Gilly and the girl were fab too. The ED was Eddie Jenkins and he was helped by Guiseppe, Lauren and Brittany who all did a great job with extra games and quizzes . The cabin was always clean as was the rest of the ship. We only ate in the MDR one ...

We chose this cruise because we had never done a Transatlantic cruise and love cruising so thought it was worth a try. We were happily surprised to find we loved it. We are a retired couple who like to meet new people but not into doing a PHD on every port. We like to get the feel and meet local people. The crossing from Southampton to Boston was amazingly calm which was a surprise even to ...
