We have cruised many times before - but this was a step up for us in terms of quality ( and price ) but the all inclusive fare was brilliant . Compared to other cruise experiences I think what you are paying for is space - both in the suite which was a really good size ( and the first time we had more storage than we needed for clothes ) , but also in the public areas where we never had to wait ...
Had never been to the British Isles and always wanted to go there. This ship is beautiful, has three wonderful specialty restaurants, included specialty hot chocolates and coffees at Coffee Connection, trivia, high tea, unusual custom-mixed cocktails, entertainment in the Meridian Lounge before dinner and wonderful entertainment after dinner. A local Celtic band and Irish dancers were brought on ...
We have sailed with Regent many times and love their ships and their staff - the thought of returning to sail with them has kept us positive during the lockdowns of a global pandemic. However, like many other travelers we were also worried about venturing onto a ship again - we should not have been worried and I hope that others reading this will feel the same way. Yes you have to stay relaxed, ...
We chose the cruise because of our prior excellent experience on Regent, including the Navigator and because of the interesting, 20 day itinerary. Exploring 10 ports in Norway was eye-opening, getting to know the culture some, the immaculateness everywhere, the Norwegian friendliness and their commitment to the environment. Murmansk, Russia was a forgettable industrial, gray, crumbling city. ...
We had tried to get a group of friends together to tour the British Isles for a few years, but it never happened. My wife and I decided to take a British Isles cruise on Regent's Explorer instead, and are very glad we did.
We used the included business class to arrive in Southampton a day early. We mainly used the day to shake off jet lag, and the next day used the hotel's complimentary car ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to try Explorer and thought the ports ideal for us, especially with a Southampton start.
We boarded and both said WOW. It really is a fantastic ship. From the artwork to the furnishings and crockery.
We were 'processed' quickly at 12 noon and then to a delicious buffet lunch. Once the suites were available we unpacked and found we still had spare ...
Greetings MikeD1000. Thank you for your review regarding your recent cruise aboard Seven Seas Explorer. It is rewarding to hear such positive feedback from our guests. We are especially...
This was our first trip on Regent, and we were very pleased that it was on their newest ship. We are Oceania cruisers, which will probably always be our first choice. However we picked this one because we wanted to see as much as possible of Iceland and Greenland, and Regent's itin made three stops in both countries, which was the most I could find on any cruise line. It was a fabulous trip, ...
Hello Suncitygalx. We are thrilled to hear that your first cruise with us aboard our newest ship Seven Seas Explorer was such a great experience and met all of your expectations. We hope...
We were on Regent's 11-day cruise around the British Isles, aboard their newest ship, the 700 passenger Explorer. First time on Regent - our previous cruises had been on Seabourn, a close competitor in the luxury cruise market. Sailed in and out of Southampton. Overall, a great experience, in spite of having to put up with rainy days in several ports and losing one port due to bad weather. The ...
Hi Chip81. It is great to know that you enjoyed your very first Regent cruise aboard Seven Seas Explorer! We appreciate your feedback and hope another cruise with us is on the horizon as we...
We were on the Explorer from June 3 to June 14th and had a wonderful time. The ship is stunning and the itinerary was very good. We loved our Penthouse Cabin 948 with its' fabulous bathroom! The beds are so comfortable, the room beautifully furnished, and we really liked the big balcony with sectional sofa and a table with chairs.
Besides Compass Rose, where we had some trouble ...
We have sailed in voyager three times. We have enjoyed every voyage very much. For us everything was perfect! We had a suite and a butler who was the epitome of efficiency. Our suite was Immaculate every day. A ceiling light bulb went out and it was changed almost before we hung up the phone to report it to our butler. Our canapés were simple but we hardly needed them. We enjoyed every ...
