Nice Trip Up The Coast to Vancouver

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

I was last aboard Radiance in 2017 for a seven night cruise from Seward to Vancouver. She is aging well and remains a typical, classic cruise ship reminiscent of days gone by in comparison with the newer mega ships with dozens (or so it seems) of water slides which threatens to turn a cruise ship into a floating water-themed amusement park with a few other venues thrown in for good measure. For ...

Repositioning Cruise

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Crown Princess

We chose this cruise because we live in Southern CA and it was less travel to be on a cruise. We haven't gone for a number of years, for obvious reasons, and looked forward to the days at sea, port activities, and the destinations. The first afternoon on the ship, we went to the "app" to get dinner reservations for that night and found out that we did NOT have dinner (table or time) for the entire ...

4 generations of our family flew to Los Angeles from BC for a week in Disneyland. This cruise brought us home with amazing stops in San Francisco, Astoria and Victoria. We intended to use the cruise to recover from Disneyland but found that there was just too much to do on the ship and in port. We enjoyed one formal night which gave the little ones a chance to dress as a little gentleman (3 year ...

1st Princess Cruise - meh

First cruise on Princess (all prior cruise experience has been Holland America). I was asked to accompany my sister and her husband on their first-ever cruise (they picked this one). Pacific Coastal cruise San Diego/San Francisco/Astoria, OR/Victoria/Vancouver, BC. I understand that for security reasons my full legal name - as on my Passport, etc. - must be available to Princess for TSA ...

I am appalled by the amount of negative reviews. We took 6 days California coast cruise and have nothing even slightly bad to say, maybe it’s because we don’t feel entitled. Let me break this down 1. Service - every crew member, and I mean every single one, greets you with smile. People who work their butts off 12 hours shifts for 6-9 months still keep a smile on their faces. Room gets cleaned ...

Fantastic after Day 1

Having never cruised Princess, 2 positives stood out. The technology of Medallion Class, and their check-in process. Now did the app work perfectly, 100% of the time? No. Of course not. I’ve never had a day at work where my internet was perfect, but I’m not quitting my job over it. We are also in the middle of a freaking ocean, so it’s pretty impressive to have any service at all. The food was ...

Fun cruise with wonderful itinerary

We were "snow. birds" returning to Seattle from S. California and chose cruising as an alternative to driving from Palm Springs to Seattle. The costs were comparable to driving and sightseeing for six days. But the plane is less expensive. We had a perfect port call on Catalina Island and rented a golf cart there for touring. We had two port days in San Francisco and toured Alcatraz - a ...

I was presently surprised at how easy and seamless the Princess Medallion was! It was just as easy as Princess had demonstrated!! It’s so easy to find your travel companions or order your drinks anywhere on the ship! Very nice addition! After 2-years of not cruising because of Covid 19, our first cruise out was on the Grand Princess April 19,2022 we had a mini suite. Our cruise was ...

Another fantastic Princess cruise complete. We were on the Grand from LA to Vancouver in April. It was originally a 6 night cruise but 2 nights were canceled due to the ship going into dry dock after we disembarked in Vancouver. From arrival at LAX, meeting up with the Princess rep, a smooth transfer to the ship, very efficient Covid testing prior to check in and a seamless embarkation. Very ...

7 Day ALASKA cruise

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Carnival Miracle

This was a 7 day trip from Seattle to Alaska with stops at Tracy Arm Fjord, Ketchikan, Juneau & Skagway. We sailed on September 7, 2021 - September 14, 2021. Loved the ship! We normally like sailing on the Dream Class ships. But the Miracle was wonderful! I loved the layout as it had the promenade basically on both decks 2 & 3. Overall the ship felt "cozy". Definitely not small. The ...
