Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Quest

We stayed 3 nights in Venice before our cruise; it was not our first time to Venice so we choosed to stay at Hotel Cipriani which is located on Giudecca Island. Embarkation was very smooth, as there were no lines; we had a Club Ocean Suite, so we had priority check in. The ship is a small to medium cruise ship, with around 700 passengers, and it was refurbished in 2H16. Our Club Ocean Suite ...

Great Cruise but Exhausting

Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Venice were new travel locations for my husband and I. We always enjoy Azamara cruises. Food is great, and the size of the ship is perfect. You don't walk miles to get to things and you meet lots of like minded travelers who we became friendly with. All inclusive with gratuities included and good wine with dinner is vey appealing. Entertainment is not big and ...

PROS: small ship ports of call time in port (except Dubrovnik, deserves a full day) CONS: STATEROOM: shower size ( well documented) . Tiny balcony. SERVICE: Slow service in restaurants, whether a large table or for two. Lack of anticipation by bar/waiting staff, having to ask for more drinks etc Living room & Cabaret lounge staff only serve one table at ...

Another Excellent Cruise with Azamara

This is our second cruise on the Quest and wont be the last. Service is second to non with all staff we encountered helpful, engaging and in good humour. Food was great in all the restaurants we tried and there was always a good selection, wine selection was good with only a couple of 'could try harder' glasses during the cruise. Buffet was very calm as opposed to some of the 'free for ...

First time on Azamara - Loved it!

We chose this cruise based on the itinerary. We wanted a cruise that included Malta, Dubrovnik and Venice. We liked the fact that many items like some drinks, gratuities were included in the cruise price. Destination Immersion is one of their tag lines and I think it shows. We were able to get closer to many destinations than larger ships. Shuttles were offered in some ports which made it easier ...

I have broken this review into segments rather than a day by day account. Conclusion Azamara is back on track with one of the best cruises we have had Azamara transport and travel arrangements Caught flight ex NCL to spend some time in Concorde room at LHR before boarding 9.25 pm flight to Mumbai. Service on board excellent and the flat bed was conducive to a good night’s sleep ...

Good itinery, more incluciviity, small ship, longer port stays. This was a top notch cruise, our second with Azamara and it will not be the last. Staff on the Quest are superb. Guest services helped us sort out an issue with our travel company ( Cruise Club ) and could not have been more helpful. In fact all the staff were polite and very professional. They are probably the most ...

I choose this cruise primarily for the itinerary as I had not been to any of the ports prior. My thoughts are as follows: Cabin: cabins look exactly like the photos online and are small but cozy. Loved spending time on the veranda enjoying tea or a glass of wine. Alvin and Mark were both great and seemed to know exactly when to do what they needed to do when I was out. Minor problem with the ...

Another fabulous cruise aboard Azamara Quest, where the officers and crew did everything they could to welcome and look after their passengers. Azamazing Evening in Livorno most enjoyable and very well organised. Thank you once again, Azamara. The weather wasn't great with some very cold days, but that wasn't down to Azamara - what was down to Azamara was the quality and comfort of the places on ...

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Azamara Journey

User Avatar

I was looking for a small ship cruise that would not have children dominating the pool and amenities so my Travel Agent recommended Azamara. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our NZ cruise very much, with superb service, unlimited cabin service, wonderful dining and a quiet veranda cabin we were set. On the down side the bathroom was too small for us and the balcony tight without room for a ...
