Was in Sky suite, first time in suite have been on many cruises, and I’m not going back. Beyond is a beautiful ship, it does creak and make lots of noise. That’s the only negative I can find with ship. Retreat area is very nice and quiet, never had issues finding chairs. The pool butler’s weren’t there, but the bar is not far away and bar staff fun and friendly. Ventured out to pool deck and ...
I chose this ship because it was a newer ship. I arrived to find my room was not clean. There was food on the floor, a used shower cap in a drawer, a half empty Evian bottle, and about 50 old wire hangers in the closet. I called housekeeping and they apologized. That was it. Then that night we arranged for fixed dining (same table, same restaurant, same time every night). I told the maitre d that ...
Embarkation was confusing but prompt. (The ship was full.) The crowd was almost all over 55. I think we saw 8 kids - all under 6. Our bags were in our room quickly. The online safety checkin was quick.
Our room was more spacious that I expected. The shower was nice sized. The balcony easily accommodated the two of us. Adequate drawer and closet space.
Getting power to our CPAPs was ...
The ship and rooms are very nice. The staff in general very friendly. BUT,!
The customer service and organization is poor. Over priced excursions, so most book through someone else. We cruised Australia and had 4 ports that used Tenders to shore. The Tender process was terrible, wait times of 1-2 hours to get on a tender, 30 minute boat ride and then the piers were 30 mins from town. ...
1. The infinite balcony is simply not a balcony; it’s a sunroom with a window that opens. No more debate needed.
2. Our 15th cruise and we missed our balcony but didn’t hate the sunroom concept. On sea days, when the decks are crowded, we missed the option of being able to sit out on our own balcony.
3. The fitness center was small and mostly crowded, especially on sea days. Miss the ...
This was our fist cruise on Celebrity since 2008 and it was nice to see that the line has adapted to the competitive world of super-ships while maintaining many of the feature we loved on the smaller ships.
Overall a very good cruise with good service, great entertainment and good dining. Was it perfect? That depends on your definition. Yes, some of the staff could have been better trained, ...
Old Ship, Older Cruise Port Terminal. This was an issue for those that used they own vehicle to the port. Never received notification from Celebrity that they was no parking garage at this terminal. Fast Embarkation Process.
Cabin – Old furniture including a couch that had many rips. Limited storage and counter space. Nice shower with glass doors vs a curtain and a nice large ...
This cruise was a present from my employer for myself, husband and 3 year old disabled daughter.
The first night I got food poisoning from bad fruit. I was very sick the first night into the second day.
I was advised to go see the acupuncturist but it was so expensive ($400) AUS and the online doctor was just as expensive.
My daughter who is autistic was treated very poorly and my belief, ...
I have cruised and traveled all over the world for 40 yrs. Crystal, Seabourn, Viking, etc.
My Rating:
The Flora Ship 6 out of 10.
The crew 9 out 10.
The food 5 out 10.
Regular cabin with balcony, 4 out 10.
The excursions and what we actually experienced 2 out 10.
Excursions were the MAJOR disappointment of the trip. Considering the time, energy and money expended on ...
Just got off celebrity Ascent out of Fort Lauderdale. We chose to get into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood the day before and stay at hotel. We had a concierge room and a 12:30 boarding time. We decided to get to port at 11:30 and wait in the area. Well, We called for Uber (15$ compared to shuttle from hotel 15$ each) at 10:28 AM, Uber picked us up at 10:30, we were at terminal at 10:45 expecting to ...
