We've taken 4 Celebrity cruises, 2 in the last 6 months, but probably won't take anymore. Beautiful ships, good food and great service but BORING.
I'm not sure they have the right target audience (we're in our late 60's). For example, very talented musicians play easy-listening playlists. Look at the audience; they are playing cards! Another example: they have crafts during the day but ...
The Edge is a beautifuly styled ship with some amazing features but it's not for me.
We had a sunset balcony cabin on deck 9 it was huge with sofa and the balcony was huge with 2 chairs, table and 1 sun louger looked after by our cabin steward Karen. We did't have a kettle in the room but we asked Karen and she got us one.
The food on board was vey good in all the main restaurants the ...
This was may 55th cruise but first time as Elite on Celebrity, We booked a C1 although I had no use for the concierge we booked late. The ship is huge and has many neat areas such as the garden, Eden, and the atrium. There is a lot of whimsical art. I had trouble navigating the layout and found signage to be inadequate. The buffet was almost always crowded although the selections were very good. ...
Our first cruise in 30 years and had a great experience overall. We were dropped off at the port terminal and an attendant checked our bags immediate. We went through check-in with only a 5 minute wait and were in our stateroom within 15 minutes of arriving at the port.
We had fairly calm seas the entire trip and the cooler weather leaving Fort Lauderdale soon turned to warmer Caribbean ...
First time sailing with Celebrity and my last. Sailed multiple other lines in the states and Europe. Beautiful ship, decent staff, poor customer relations. No shower facilities for the fitness center unless you book something in the spa. Not a big drinker but incorrect charges multiple times. Bars did not appear to have enough staff to handle customer orders. Automatic additional ...

The ship is absolutely gorgeous! The terracing/ layered effect in the martini bar is awesome and the chandelier is beautiful. Having been on the Apex, we really like the sunset bar but appreciate the redesign with the little more space and the Moorish theme. The staff are incredibly attentive and it feels like they're a lot more of them than they're really are. My son and I also truly enjoy the ...
You will be pleased with some of the over the top design and decor. You should like the service of the hard working crew, but will be not as pleased with some of the on board things.
The food has dropped dramatically in quality in the dining rooms, but the pleasant staff try to make up for it with excellent service. The chefs need to back off the amount of salt.
Entertainment continues ...
I almost didn't go on this cruise but I'm glad I did! There was a last minute cancelation which allowed this to happen.
The Ascent is beautiful and modern. Walking into it feels like walking into a high end club. I really appreciated the excellent service from our stateroom attendant, Edy. There are many nationalities on the ship that work very hard for a wonderful cruise for all of us. Please ...
staff, facilities, shows, specialty restaurants great; travelling in Retreat Class which provides a private dining room, Luminaire, rather than the ships three main dining rooms; service was great: breakfast and lunch were fine, BUT not one good dinner; both the food and the cooking of same were very sub-par.
staffing; wherever yo went, everyone was friendly and informative;
room; nice ...
