Started cruising in August 2012. The first cruise was on the Queen Elizabeth to the Norwegian Fyords. Fabulous. Since then we have sailed on 13 Cunard cruises. I believe we are now diamond grade. We enjoy our cocktails in the Commodore Club and the excellent service we have always received. This was our 3rd cruise with Cunard this year with view to booking another before 2017. You could say it ...

The Queen Victoria is 'Outdated Elegance' as another critic has stated... and that is what we love, the Elegance of a Past-dated time. The Queen Vic has it in spades!! The ship has a wonderful, homely feeling once you board. Everything was as we expected..... A MAJOR bone of contention is the carrying of your own suitcase etc after check-in at departure airport ....to the ships' transfer ...

Stateroom on floor 7 excellent, Britannia Restaurant excellent, Crew excellent, However the dance hosts were all American, two of them must have learnt there dancing from a library book, one was a try hard and the fourth did have some idea of what to do with a lady on the dance floor but it was all too much American Smooth style dancing which gets in the way of those who dance International, this ...

Lots of positives on this elegant ship but...

We specifically chose this cruise because of the Itinerary. However over the two weeks on board we had 8 changes to the Itinerary. We understand that safety is important but perhaps cruise organisers need to have alternatives in place that equal the original destinations. Sarande in Albania was a total waste and overall we ended up with an extra sea day - this is wrong. The ship is ...

An excellent first cruise experience!

This was our first cruise and after careful research here we thought it would be a good choice as we don't like loud and flashy. Flying from Bournemouth with Titan Airways, the initial impression was not great. The flight ran to schedule, however, in-flight catering was poor with the most miserable processed cheese sandwich made with sliced white bread, plus a four finger Kit-Kat. Arriving ...

We chose it for the destination of Norway and Iceland in August 2016. All the ports were great and they give adequate time at each one to enjoy. The ship was smooth sailing and we loved every minute ,except for the formal nights where you are required to wear a tie and coat - 4 nights in 13 is too many. All meals were first class and not one complaint. Good organisation get on and off ...

This was our third cruise - by chance all on Queen Elizaebth - which we have almost come to regard as home at sea. My partner was always interested in going to Norway but I was less keen - so when this combined Norway and Iceland cruise popped-up, we went for it. Everyone I've spoken to who has been to Iceland says it is fascinating and like no-where else on earth. As previously our check-in ...

This was a fabulous first real experience of Cruising. The ship was a holiday in itself.Loved every minute. Excelent destinations too. The service, food, entertainment and facilities just excellent. We had DeLuxe Inside 'Stateroom' and it was OK, plenty of space and afterall, you are only going to sleep/relax there. Would have a Balcony if I could afford it. Be under no illusion QE is money ...

Joined Queen Victoria for seven night's of this cruise. Sailed through the embarkation, we were lucky as only our coach to arrive at that time.Cabin comfortable and clean and kept nice by our steward. We had Breakfast and Lunch in the buffet restaurant, which had an excellent choice of food, regularly replenished and always hot. Dinner was in the Britannia Restaurant with good menu choices and we ...

Cunard Sets the Standard that Other Lines Should Follow

We booked it because we wanted to try a Cunard and also liked the itinerary. The Queen Victoria is an amazing boat - spotlessly clean and shiny, elegant and comfortable! It was just beautiful! We loved every minute of our cruise. The staff was also very attentive and provided excellent service no matter the department. We booked last minute so we were in an outside cabin (we regularly book at ...
