Great cruise from start to finish:
Getting on was super fast and hard to believe but it was 10 min from terminal door to cabin.
The Edge is beautiful and was very clean. The crew is happy that guests are back onboard and it showed for the entire cruise.
We ate at Blu and we could also select from the other 4 restaurants. Food was above average.
The shows were entertaining and the ...
We wanted to try a different cruise line and needed something for a particular week and Celebrity had a good price with drinks and tips included. My husband had read about the shape of the ship and was interested to experience the Edge. We were not disappointed. This is a truly beautiful ship, and does not compare to anything else we have travelled on in our 15 cruise experience. Friends had ...
I appreciate that not everyone is comfortable with cruising right now and you have to do what’s right for you. For us, being triple vaccinated and also having both recovered from Covid a month before, we felt we had super immunity passes, lol.
Flight- Toronto to Fort Lauderdale with WestJet Premium (we had flight credit to use). Priority check in was quick. Very attentive inflight service. A ...
Have cruised 5 times with Celebrity .
Jan 16 we booked a back to back cruise, from Ft Lauderdale, party of 6, 3 cabins. Myself and wife, tested covid positive, my four sons, negative , but we all had to get off and lost our second week of cruising.
We were offered a 4 days stay in a hotel (3 rooms $ 350 per night. and $ 100 per day for food each) As soon as we checked in, ( Atlantic hotel ...
My wife and I chose this cruise because of the of the sail date and the itinerary. We were in for a very pleasant surprise to find that the Celebrity Edge is the “cutting edge” of the new standard in cruising. The ship is designed to suite mature experienced cruisers who expect and enjoy the finer things. If you are looking for a party cruise over spring break, or a low budget Formica funship, ...
I chose Celebrity Edge because of the date, New Years on a boat. The hassle getting there makes me question if the whole experience was worth it. Getting the Covid19 tests during another rush was a disaster. We had to order online, which was twice the price of going to Walgreens. However, you couldn't find a home test at Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Publix. There was none to be found. So, I ...
We had a great experience on this ship in August and decided to book a back to back over the Christmas holiday. Obviously everything that was great in August remained great in December--service at all venues, staff was very engaging and everyone was smiling, the ship was extremely clean and well maintained, the food was exceptional, and the entertainment was great. The ship sailed at roughly ...
My wife and I are young-ish business owners with very few opportunities to get away for an uninterrupted week.
A primary concern we had when selecting a cruise line was the food quality. We are both enthusiastic about food, and while we would not consider ourselves real chefs, we would fall into the category of very skilled amateurs in the kitchen. Our previous experience with family oriented ...
We chose this cruise for its price and itinerary. The boat was at 45% capacity and decks were sometimes deserted. We were in the Retreat after booking a sky suite 7194 has an extended balcony with a window on the side with a view looking forward as well as starboard (right) side view. The retreat has a room and an outdoor area. There is also an entire fowl ward deck with attentive drink servers ...
We may have been a little spoiled over the thanksgiving cruise since there were only 720~ passengers, but service was amazing. The AquaClass room was roomy and the bathroom was amazing. The Infinite veranda was nice, but it has a downside of not being able to just walk and sit outside. Eating at Blu was a delight for breakfast and dinner. We chose to eat at Fine Cut Steakhouse, Eden and Le Petit ...
