My husband suggested we do a cruise, and I was leery about an ocean cruise (I don't want to be seasick!), but my mom had told me that river cruises are very smooth. We did the Grand Circle Travel river cruise from Paris to Nice. We actually took a bus from Paris to Lyon, where the ship was docked.

Our first river cruise with friends who had done 4 other river cruises.we spent two days in Nice , traveled to the ship to geton in Arles, stopped in Avignon, Viviers, and two days in lyon. I chose this cruise because it was one I had not been on and it was a good price. Because of a problem with the airline I completely missed Nice ,which was a big disappointment..through no fault of Grand Circle.
