Incredible food, experiences--kept us busy!
"While some companies require that you dine at a scheduled time (first seating or second seating), Grand Circle's ships are smaller, so all of us could dine together during mealtimes.The first night was the captain's welcome dinner and the last night was the captain's farewell dinner (both featured extra courses), but even the other 5 nights we had more than enough food--we could ask for half portions, which was great for me!..."Read More

My husband suggested we do a cruise, and I was leery about an ocean cruise (I don't want to be seasick!), but my mom had told me that river cruises are very smooth. Our first river cruise with friends who had done 4 other river cruises.we spent two days in Nice , traveled to the ship to geton in Arles, stopped in Avignon, Viviers, and two days in lyon. I chose this cruise because it was one I had not been on and it was a good price. Because of a problem with the airline I completely missed Nice ,which was a big disappointment..through no fault of Grand Circle.
