We spent 18 nights aboard Pursuit from Cape Town to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. The ship had a serious gastrointestinal infection aboard that was badly mishandled by Pursuit's crew. Dealing with Azamara precruise was a nightmare. They actually "lost" one of our bookings and don't get me started on their website!!
We were therefore very pleasantly surprised at how well our cruise went. The fact that there were less than 400 passengers may have helped but everything from embarkation on was so easy. Never had to queue for anything.

As embarkation goes, it has to be the worst in all my years cruising. There were only 550 odd of us but it over 2 hours in makeshift tents, fighting for seats, coffee and biscuits ran out and after we got on and did the mandatory safety briefing - the buffet had closed.
