There is for breakfast and lunch massive queues, as Windjammer is too small for capacity of the ship. Apparently capacity of the passangers is 4200, Windjammer can hold I think roughly 1000.I stayed hungry or eating any food which I dislike as I couldn't get trough the counter l... Booked suites which is basically slightly large than balcony, not even sofa bed, only old dirty sofa. Ship is old ...

We have cruised with P&O, RC Symphony of the Seas, Virgin Scarlet lady, Morella, and by far this was the worst ship we have ever been on, this ship is well past its sell by date, falling apart, outdated. Entertainment was the worst I have ever seen, butlins is much better, people walking out 10 mins into shows, what really annoys me is that this was the 2nd most expensive cruise we have been ...

We have very few fixed weeks of vacation each year, and this was one of them. Took my 89 year old dad and handicapped nephew, hoping to find some interesting ports and ship entertainment and quality family time. The ship has NOT been renovated. Furnishings, both soft and hard goods, are old and worn. The Hallways smell strongly of must, mold and mildew. Rooms were better, however when moving ...

First ever cruise. We chose this cruise for its ports of call. Very impressed with the overall experience. Very good food, very clean ship. Staff was very accommodating to our requests, letting us pick our dining time and ensuring we had wine glasses in our room every night. We had a private excursion in Santorini at 830am and were told to wait in the conference room with others and we were ...

Disgusting ship, looks very dirty and fallen apart. Very old and not kept amenities, dirty old bed sheets and blocked shower drain, the hair dryer stops to work half way,it was not possible to dry the hair completily and I have short hair. Unfriendly personal at the poolbar and cafe. Crowed swimmingpool area, no rules in the jacuzzi, a lot of people at the same time and children jumping on it. I ...

Great Experience on this Older Ship

We had a fantastic time on this cruise that left out of Ravenna, Italy. I was surprised with the Interiors of this older ship. Everything had been updated. I rarely could tell the age of the ship. The Cabin was likewise updated. Food was fantastic, the Crew Members were great, they all seemed genuinely engaged with all the passengers. Only issues that I noticed were 2 of the Hot Tubs by ...

One of the worst cruise companies not worth the price at all

We wanted to take a cruise vacation on that specific dates. We liked the destinations and picked RC. It is really a low quality company. I understand many people chose this company because of the price but we were not happy at all. First the ship is old and dirty. may be that had better this. Secondly, we were not sati sfied the service at all. The food is not good, fitness center is not well kept ...

Embarking on the Explorer of the Seas was a delightful experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped onboard, we were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional service. The ship's grandeur and modern amenities instantly impressed us. Throughout the cruise, the diverse array of activities catered to everyone's interests. Whether it was soaking up the sun by the pool, ...

Family selected this since there was a sale last summer on this particular cruise. Six adults and four kids. Over 25 years ago, Royal Caribbean (RC)was our first cruise. We were hooked ....the food, entertainment, bars, etc. were excellent. Since then we have cruised on 10+ occasions, on a variety of cruise lines in addition to RC. RC has evidently changed their business model and is ...

A Sample of Montenegro and Greece (and Norovirus)

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

Wash your frickin hands people! Before I talk about the cruise, there was an outbreak of Norovirus on this sailing which can be largely prevented if people washed their hands frequently, but clearly a lot of people don't believe in basic hygiene. Before the outbreak I heard one woman complaining about having to wash her hands when entering the Windjammer buffet because "she washed them before ...
