New England Cruise

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

Overall good cruise. A little overpriced. The ports of call were just average. Bar Harbor and Halifax were the best. We had to travel quite far to get to any excursions at all the ports and there was nothing to do at the port in New Brunswick so I highly suggest doing an excursion that day. Cabin and crew were absolutely awesome! Especially our dinner staff Ronaldo and Merlon. Cruise director ...

I throughly enjoyed our cruise and would recommend this ship and a Canadian/New England cruise. Foremost, the crew was amazing, especially our main dining room staff and state room attendants. I appreciate the hard work, attentiveness and kindness. They provided the personal touches that made the experience special. The food was excellent (especially in the main dining room, most hit or miss in ...

A Wonderful Vacation!

We found our time extremely relaxing and thank the crew for an amazing voyage! My expectations were exceeded as I figured it would be mediocre compared to our Alaska cruise with an upscale cruise line. Because of the service we received I would definitely go RC again. From the food and beverage staff - the housekeeping staff - we were treated like royalty and enjoyed the adventure. I say this ...

Too much nickle and diming us

Had a lot of fun but got tired of all the hidden fees. I would preferred to have them increase the price instead of all the extra hidden costs. They charged us 45 per day in stateroom fees for an extra 350. Then All the drinks which were already $12 each had 18% gratuity added. Bingo ended up costing us 80 for two games. It just felt like too much when we pay so much to cruise. The staff was ...

Big Family Cruise on the Adventure of the Seas

Background: This cruise consisted of 24 members of our family coming from Florida, New Jersey, Staten Island, & Long Island, NY. We aged from 3 to 85, so we were all really looking forward to this cruise. Embarkation: What a disaster. Coming into the dock at Cape Liberty must have taken 45 minutes - an hour. All cars waiting in two lines, just to merge into one lane to drop off. You had to get ...

There were 10 of us (92 year old, six adults, 3 and 6 year-olds, and a 6-month old). It was great for a family. The 6-year old loved the camp. This is the 5th RC cruise I've taken. I'm very disappointed in the problem resolution. We had two substantial problems with our cabins (we had 5 cabins) Rooms that were to be adjoining (3 and 6 year olds in one and parents in the other) were not ...

The cruise served as a milestone anniversary trip, so OVERALL, it was a great cruise! Very relaxing, lots of the home stresses were forgotten for a week. The positives of the cruise and ship were the food (we only ate at main DR and Windjammer) was very good (not GREAT, but very adequate for me not cooking or cleaning!). The bars and bar services were great (with the Deluxe Drink package) ...

The main dining room experience has gone WAY downhill since 2014. This used to be a major RC strength over the other cruise lines. Boring menu, overworked waitstaff, and the desserts are still awful. On the bright side, the Windjammer cafe on this ship does a fantastic job. At Canaveral, we did the airboat ride and Jungle Adventure. The airboat right was great. Water levels were high so ...

All about volume not service

I am very disappointed in the ship and the cruise. I’ll list out my issues one by one. 1. There’s too many passengers on the ship. It was remodeled, but it seems they just added rooms. Days at sea are filled with fighting for elbow room with fellow guests. Long lines precede every single activity. With the exception of the gym after the first day, everything was packed. 2. The ...
