We chose this cruise for the itinerary and I was celebrating my birthday.
Embarkation at Port Liberty was very smooth and well organized. We chose a 10:30 am check in time and were able to board the ship immediately. We were not allowed to access our cabin (oceanview 7504) till 1pm. It gave us plenty of time to explore the ship and order cocktails. The Wind Jammer was open for lunch and ...
Adventure of the Seas was “just OK” this cruise. The ship itself was clean, and well maintained. What was lackluster was the dining in both main and windjammer dining rooms. The menu never really changes, and service was extremely slow. Waiters never remembered our names, or what drinks we ordered everyday. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed. No music in the dining room gave a gloomy feel while ...
We decided to cruise from NJ this time, perhaps a newer or larger ship would have been better. We had terrible weather, was extremely disappointed in Cocoa Day, I'm sure when it's completed will be a great port of call. The public areas could use some freshening up. Not enough lounge chairs by the pools. Dining experience was excellent, servers were extremely pleasant and professional. The magic ...
Ship was well kept. Food in dining room was great. Plenty of activities for adults on cruise days. Cococay needs more shelters to block the rain. There was a teen area. Limited times for activities like flowrider, rock climbing, basketball court (balls collected at 10 PM), pools & hot tubs even closed early. 16 to 20 yr olds need more activities. Arcade had several games out of order. ...
We chose this cruise because we like the Adventure class of ships and it left out of Port Liberty, which is only a short drive from our home in Pennsylvania. We traveled with our daughter, son-in-law and their four daughters. We were on the Explorer a few years ago and really enjoyed it.
While we all enjoyed the trip, there were several disappointments. The long lines to get through the ...
Embarkation was not a problem and neither was our cabin - we knew what to expect in terms of size and location, plus our room steward was excellent! We have cruised 5 other times (1 with Carnival, 4 with Norwegian).
FOOD: The food was horrible. The food at the Windjammer was cold, old, and they always had several stations closed. Presentation was ugly too. Expect to stand in long lines. They ...
I had never been to the bahamas before, just the private islands and thought id give it a go, well chose june turned out to be not a good idea, alot of families with graduation parties onboard long lines for everything, and the weather was rainy on and off, this was the first sailing on the new itinery for this ship , so service was slower, and the food choices were not like in the past, in fact ...
It was a avg cruise at best. Entertainment was ok. Food in main dining room was horrible and late night food was even worse and not much to choose from also internet service was very slow so without going all in here I'll leave it at that...those were my 2 complaints if not for that I would rate this better. They say no holding of lounge chairs around the pool but yet they dont pick up towels and ...
Nice price and port a lot closer to home than Florida. Cruise director and manager were entertaining. The wait staff in the Main dining room were wonderful! The promenade was very unique and the Quest was hilarious!! Getting on and off the ship at ports was very easy. Plenty of seating in the windjammer. My state room was always kept clean as were the public restrooms. The pools were not over ...
Our third cruise, first with RCCL. Cabin was good, staff wonderful. Food and entertainment were generally great. The perfect day at Coco Cay was not so perfect with a large brawl erupting. As a VIP at several gambling resorts, I was appaulled at the treatment at Casino Royal. You needed a gas mask to get through the stench of cigarette smoke. Bartenders ignored you generally when trying to get a ...
