Check in smooth. Room ready at 2ish. Every single day charges applied to card for mandatory gratuities. Watch out as 18% added to drinks purchased automatically. Ship is very tired in places and needs refitted. Rusty balconies. Filthy glass on balcony. And outside areas Staff are fabulous. And doing their best with a ship that’s had it. Food in windjammer is mass produced rubbish. ...

Our whole family enjoyed our cruise. This got long, but I divided it by section. We have been on two other Royal cruises (Both before covid) but maybe 10 cruises in our life. Entertainment Pros -Cruise Director and entertainment staff were great -Comedy duo of Mario and Daniel were really funny. (They did shows one evening) -This one Scottish guy did Bagpipes name that tune trivia. He ...

After working hard, and waiting for long months, to be able to celebrate my mother's 84th birthday, here I leave you a record of the terrible nightmare experienced during our journey. Let's start with the unkindness of some people who work in the aging port of Everglades in Fort Laudardale. Starting with the people who receive the suitcases. The first thing they do, and they tell you it to ...

Amazing time on Adventure of the Seas

It was originally scheduled as a 7 night Eastern Caribbean to St Croix, Tortola and Coco Cay RT from Ft Lauderdale. Because of the hurricane the Adventure of the Seas was re-deployed from Ft Lauderdale to Roatan, Honduras, Cozumel, Mexico and Perfect Day Coco Cay, Bahamas. I cannot say enough good about Global Airport Parking, we've been using them for all 4 main Florida ports and they all have ...

Can’t get the taste out of my mouth

The employees were great , a lot of people were working hard to keep that ship clean . Entertainment was also good. The food was bizarre , everything tasted the same . It was bland with a strange aftertaste. It took two weeks to get that taste out of my mouth. The ship was definitely overcrowded but that’s to be expected. Just get the basic pop drink package . They will not refund your ...

Cutting corners on the seas

We chose this cruise for it's itinerary which included St. Croix, Tortola and Coco Cay. Due to hurricane Lee's location north of St. Croix and Tortola. The new ports of call were Roatan, Cozumel and Coco Cay. We not entirely sure this was necessary but we'll assume RCCL was playing it safe. Disappointed with the new itinerary as we had been to Roatan and Cozulmel ad nauseam. We're Diamond ...

Old ship, needs lots of maintenance

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

The Adventure of the Seas is an old ship that is in need of a lot of care and maintenance. The appearance of the ship is rusty, with outside tables and chairs that are showing their many years of usage. The cabins are small, carpets haven't been cleaned is some time and balcony rusty, stained/dirty decking. Food in main dining room and buffet was tasteless, bland and repetitive, day after day. ...

We are just back from our second sailing on Royal's Adventure of the Seas. My wife and I last sailed in September 2019 and loved the ship. It turned out our post pandemic return to cruising was also on Adventure. Four years ago it was to New England and Canada, this time it was to the Caribbean. We were a group of 14 this time around. While I very much enjoy cruising with a group, I think I've ...

I wanted to try Royal Caribbean and wanted an Eastern Caribbean cruise for my family of 30. Dates and itinerary worked out fine for us. We had a fantastic time and the week went by too quickly. There were many positives, but also some negatives. Embarkation process was well organized, smooth, and we were quite impressed. Our suite was nice and the rest of the family enjoyed Wide Spacious ...
