The Adventure of the Seas is not the Hilton of the Seas. It is more the Best Western of the Seas. While, the ship is older, it is in decent shape. The rooms are spacey and the crew is wonderful. The entertainment is not the best and the on deck pools are rather small. The Promenade is nice but has more jewelry, purse stores, and cologne stores than actual stores you need on a ship. The food is ok, ...
I understand that RC was trying to cut costs by only having rooms attended to once a day, but on a 5 day cruise, we had our room cleaned 1 time, no towel animals, and we left the magnet on the door every time we left the room. That's bad service. Also, to get pool towels delivered you can scan in and request them. I did that - they never came. The bartenders were awesome, the food was okay, but ...
This was a family trip and we had multiple rooms. Our bathroom smelled like sewage the entire trip! Our sons toilet wouldn’t even flush for an entire day. The food was incredibly bad, both in the dining room and the buffet. We ended up paying extra for dinner because the food was so bad. No flavor, served luke warm and no one seemed to care. The wait staff just wanted to push you to purchase more ...
I am a Carnival Gold member who loves to cruise. Had it not been for COVID, we would platinum. A number of friends told us that we had to try Royal Caribbean (RC). They promised we would never go back to Carnival. Well, they were wrong.
The first issue we had was having our first port canceled. We were supposed to go to Progresso on our first stop. Royal Caribbean canceled the stop claiming the ...
We chose this cruise due to dates and port. It's really narrow and the promenade deck is hard to get through when busy. Staff and food were excellent. We ate at Giovanni's and main dining for dinner. We didn't love the lunch in the main dining but dinners were great. We were disappointed there was no lobster night. I don't know it was only on longer cruises. Toilet didn't flush sometimes. ...
As a Gold Crown & Anchor member, this was our 3rd cruise on Royal Caribbean. It is a shame RC has lost their way and hopefully the CEO, Jason Liberty is paying attention…. More importantly I hope he is making changes. Either he will or his successor will be forced to.
Adventure of the Seas is not a bad ship. It is fairly nice. Check in was fine, safety briefing was good, clean stateroom, ...
This was our first cruise. Very disappointing. The ship either needs to be refurbished or cut up for scrap! Very poor maintenance. Rust everywhere. Windows dirty. Railing dried out, splintered. Window trim rotted. They were always working on one elevator. Windjammer restaurant a zoo! Limited seating. Went to the dining room. It had better food and great service. Ship store limited ...
This is the longest cruise my wife and I have done, and we weren't disappointed. Yes, Adventure is an older ship and needs a refurb, but this itinerary and the ship's staff made this a vacation of a lifetime. We've been cruising since 2003 on Royal, Princess, and Celebrity, but Cartagena, Colon, and Puerto Limon were all first-time ports for us.
We booked a city tour of Cartagena through Royal ...
We wanted this itinerary for its stops in South and Central America and that was the right thing for us to do, as we've
been to the Caribbean so many time. Roatan was a highlight as was Costa Rica, but the Panama Canal is a LONG and mostly boring way to get to the Pacific Ocean. We did by Excursion and glad we did, once you have gone on a canal cruise in Europe, it's the same experience and not ...
DH and I are in our mid 50s. We live in Pennsylvania. We have sailed on Voyager class before but this was our first time on Adventure, and this was our second cruise as Diamond Plus members. Royal Caribbean is the only line we have sailed on. We have been to Bermuda several times before.
This was a casino comped cruise which we booked in June. We combined two interior offers for an ocean ...
