Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

If I could give Adventure of the Seas 10 or more stars I would. My daughter suggested Royal Caribbean International for our family cruise to celebrate my husband and my 50th anniversary. The family included 9 of us with our 23 month old granddaughter. The adjectives wonderful, beautiful, fantastic are only some of the words to use to explain this wonderful cruise. First, we each had an ...

We chose this cruise as part of our back to back cruise. week of 6-25-2016 and 7-02-0216. The cruise was very good, with very few problems. From arrival at the pier to boarding the ship it took less than fifteen minutes, can't say the same for disembarking it took a good thirty minutes after our number was called, one hour late. I am an Emerald member. Room was clean, the shower broke, but ...

We wanted to duplicate our honeymoon cruise some 21 years ago. We flew down to san Juan 2 days in advance to take in the sites in Old San Juan and to sample the local restaurants. (Pannes restaurant in the Coronado District was so good we ate there twice) The Adventure of the Seas (Voyager Class) has been recently refurbished and has many of the amenities you'll find on newer RCCL ships. It is ...

We wanted to take our children and grandchildren on a cruise this summer and wanted to start in San Juan. The Adventure of the Seas offered a great itinerary. We were a little concerned when we found out the ship was scheduled to go into drydock at the end of this season because we thought it might not be in good shape. We were sure wrong about that.. The ship was still in great shape and the ...

The cruise line provided excellent service and a terrific itinerary. From the moment of embarkation until we left a week later, Adventure of the Seas provided an exceptional home away from home. The food seemed to be even better than on recent cruises and the personnel onboard offered outstanding service, both in the dining room and the cabin. We participated in a Cruise Critic Meeting while on ...

As an avid solo cruise adventurer, this was my 9th cruise, leaving San Juan on 25 June 2016 on AoS. The ports of call were: St Maarten, Day at Sea, Bonaire, Aruba, Curacao, Day at Sea and then back to San Juan. I had only booked this cruise 2.5 weeks before going on the cruise. I did a number of things ahead of time, of which was coming to www.cruisecritic.com and checking out excursions for ...

My wife and I went on the Adventure of the Seas leaving out of San Juan on June 25th, 2016. It was our 8th cruise taken on this cruise line .....it was for our 25th anniversary. We had a Junior Suite overlooking the back of the boat on the 10th floor. How beautiful it was!! We were treated to chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in the room upon our arrival...and we savored our ...

I chose this cruise for the itinerary. Living in South Florida you can only do eastern and western Caribbean so many times. The ports were very nice. The service on the ship was outstanding. The wait staff were very attentive and accommodating. They always addressed us by our names and couldn't do enough to please us. The cabin steward was also attentive and accommodating. I had a small issue, ...

We flew in late Friday and stayed at the San Juan Airport hotel. It was terrible hotel that should be condemned. It smelled bad and the rooms felt like prison cells. We woke up as quick as possible to get out of dodge and see if we could get on the ship early. We arrived at the port at 11:20 and were on the ship by 11:40. We could not believe how quick the process was. Disembarkation was another ...
