We have cruised for years. We still like the Adventure of the Seas even if she is aging. We enjoyed our vacation enough that we booked another cruise on Adventure of the Seas for November when she comes out of the dry dock with some fresh paint and new ideas. Our room 9435 JS was nifty. The extra room of the Junior Suite is appreciated. The walk-in closet and bigger bathroom are nice and the ...

Itinerary My other half wanted St Thomas and Aruba, and this cruise not only gave us that, but embarkation was from San Juan, which is my favorite island. The itinerary.was excellent, a great mix of both lush and desert islands. I read in some reviews that the ship was outdated, but did not find it so. The omission of both robes and iron in the staterooms were a disappointment, but not a ...

Love to sail out of San Juan. Love the relaxing atmosphere. Arrived at Pier rather early since we had a grp of 10 with one wheelchair. Had to stand line for a bit. Very hot. Porters started to take luggage at 11:30. Thought last time we sailed they took the luggage earlier. Check in was quick but then there was a hold up due to Coast Guard inspection. Safety First. so we have no problem waiting.. ...

We liked that one of the port of calls went to Aruba. The boat it self you could tell needed repairs. The main dining room was the best experience ever, our server Chandan Das and the assistant server Shelton treated us to the best customer experience we have ever experienced in our life. The stateroom attendant Richard Montinola was also very professional and was on top as far as making sure our ...

This is the first time I have been on the Royal Caribbean. Nice ship. Our balcony was good and the room was clean. We met alot of interesting people from the eastern side, New York, Mass, VA, MD, FL, Canada of course. We had a lot of fun. The weather was good. We sailed to St. Thomas, St. Kitt Nevis, Curacao and Aruba. 7 days, 5 ports. Willemstad, Curacao was the hightlight. A beautiful ...

We have been on a number of cruises in the caribean, but had not experienced the southern Caribbean so this one fit the bill. We got into San Juan a day early and wished we had even more time there. I was a little afraid of this trip since so many people had said that it was getting old and needed refurbishment. Sure there were a few more scratches than usual on our cabin furniture but ...

• Background information This was a “solo” cruise for me and my husband. When I say solo, I mean that we weren’t traveling with any other people. That doesn’t happen very often, but we were celebrating our 15th Wedding anniversary on this cruise and felt that we should leave the others behind. DH is 36 and I am 42. We have cruised a few times before (4 times for DH and 6 for myself) and ...

We just returned from a week on the Adventure of the Seas......although the interior is a little dated, she is due to go into drydock in October...the entertainment was excellent! We went to Giovanni's Table one night.........so much food!! If you go, ask for Bennie the waiter from the Philippines......he was the best waiter we've ever had! We did a junior suite for the first time ...

I have been on this boat about 2 other times about 10 years ago. I had a really wonderful time. I didn't give it 5 because I feel the boat is getting old and can use upgrades. There were areas that needed paint and fixing. But the boat was clean and my room was also very clean. But the food was really good and the service on all levels was great. We did a tour everyday and found most of ...

Fun-filled Cruise to the Eastern Caribbean

We chose this cruise after taking a boring, unexciting cruise from Bayonne, NJ last year (too many sail days, cruisers that didn't leave the ship and were demanding of everyone on board). We like to visit a port a day --active and busy! Leaving San Juan, we visited St. Martin, St.Kitts, Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados and then one sail day back to San Juan. Royal Caribbean does a good job with ...
