A Great Way to Be With Family

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We choose this cruise because we wanted to have a family get together. There were 3 generations, 10 people in all, with ages from 9 to 74, in a total of 6 cabins. We, the reviewers, being the older ones (grandparents) Each group did their own thing, excursions, beach, pool, etc. Family dinner at night, no cooking, no cleaning up. Loved the warm weather, so we choose to use Puerto Rico as ...

The main reason we choose this cruise was for the itinerary, and it was our best friends first cruise and I new Royal Caribbean would deliver the goods. Giovanni specialty restaurant was excellent and I highly recommended it for the money. We have been on several cruise lines and it had been a while since we cruised with Royal but we knew once on board that nothing had changed in the four years we ...

This was our best cruise ever! Husband and I went on this for our honeymoon (My 9th cruise, his 3rd) and we both said this was the best cruise yet, and not just because it was our honeymoon :) The entertainment was the best I've seen on a ship, there was always so much going on and so much to do and see. On top of the regular production shows at night, there were 3 different comedians, theme ...

Very Good Cruise but with Some Recommendations

Overall, this was a very good cruise. The dining service at table 476 and entertainment were exceptional. This was a last minute cruise just to get away for a few days so we were not looking for anything special. From a constructive criticizm stand point, A of the S is ready for dry dock, which we understand is due in October. The linens were showing wear, seats in the theater were also ...

Pleasant, Uneventful Trip

We left mid-April on our southern Caribbean cruise. There were 6 of us in 3 cabins (4 in inside cabins, 1 in an ocean view and 1 in a balcony stateroom). Inbound flights (5 different departure cities) were uneventful and on-time. It seems that the terminals have changed within the last year. I believe Southwest, Delta, and American all came in to and departed from terminal B. The baggage ...

Our first cruise with RC on ADVENTURE OF THE SEAS ship was very nice. The accomodation, food, shore excurisions, entertainment were very good. Appreciated that this cruise line was NOT "hawking" various items as soon as we stepped out of the room. There was an initial mix-up with seating arrangements for dinner for our party of four but corrections were made and we were happy. Glad to ...

Loved the ship - disliked the excursions!

We chose this cruise, since other family members had already booked. We had always been skeptical of cruising, but decided to give it a try. The ship was beautiful, staff was great and only for short periods of time did we feel like we were "cruising". The wine bar is a great quiet place for wine and snacks and the service was so attentive. The main dining room's food really wasn't very tasty, ...

2 Adults, 2 Teenagers, Fabulous Vacation

After reading some not so great reviews of this ship before we left I was getting a bit nervous, so I felt compelled to write that if you do not have a fabulous vacation on this cruise it is your own fault. No, it isn't the newest ship, it's slightly dated and some rooms are worn, but it is perfectly clean. Our plane landed at 3:00, plenty of taxis waiting to take you to the ship, $27 for four ...

We chose this particular cruise due to the multiple ports in their itinerary. I poured over the reviews from here (thank you) and wrote down tips and tricks. I will return the favour and list the most helpful tips that I used. I must say, that after reading some negative reviews regarding the ship’s state, I was nervous with what to expect. Although this was our 3rd cruise, we were ...

Location and chance to see new islands in this part of the Carribean. Our flight and embarkation on the same day was the best ever. No wait time in terminal a all. Had direct flight from Houston, Texas, 4 hours only. . Our cabin was the snag for the day. Several problems and finally had to get housekeeping guru ti come to clear up the mess. Wine and champagne did the trick. Our dining ...
