Very Nice 14 Night TA from Tampa to Barcelona

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

I just finished my 11th Trans Atlantic cruise which was my first cruise on Brilliance of the Seas. From boarding in Tampa to leaving the ship in Barcelona, this was an excellent cruise and I encountered no difficulties. During the 14 days, there were always activities available. I really enjoyed the various music options provided in the different location around the ship each day and evening. ...

We booked this cruise at the last minute. We had previously done a few short Carnival cruises to Mexico, but this was completely different. ROOM: Decent size, great stewardess, overall satisfied FOOD: Very hit or miss....they had a wide variety of food. But, I had the worst Mexican food(in a "specialty" restaurant{!!!}) and pancakes of my life on this cruise. There were other terrible items, ...

Bucket List Trip...

A Transatlantic crossing has always been high on my bucket list. The Brilliance of the Seas is a sweet ship. Something about her size, design... a very friendly and relaxed ship. Probably one of my favorites. We had a total of three cabins booked, two Family Oceanview Staterooms and one Balcony Stateroom. The embarkation process in Tampa was quick and seamless. Less than 30 minutes ...

I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. The ship is in super condition except for the furniture which shows considerable wear and tear. In the Colony Club one of the rear facing windows is severely cracked from top to bottom. My cabin was quiet and comfortable although the decor seems dated. And my cabin steward was excellent. Dining in the MDR is quick and the food mostly so-so. The ...

Wonderful cruise, nice ship!

Based on a number of reviews, I was concerned about how we'd like travelling across the Atlantic on the Brilliance of the Seas. I'm happy to report that it was a wonderful cruise. Getting on the ship in Tampa was a breeze, and our room was ready by 1pm. There's no doubt that RCI has much bigger and newer ships. However, the Brilliance of the Seas is no slouch by any stretch of the ...

Great Cruise; 14 Days, WOW

For an older ship the Brilliance was in good shape. Plus the staff was excellent. We felt like RC put gave their best to a repositioning cruise. Entertainment and food was not sub par for this cruise, in fact it felt like it was increased for this cruise. Embarkation was the smoothest in our 6 cruises. We took UBER from the hotel to the port. Seamless and saved money. People in the lobby ...

I chose this cruise for the price and the destination of Spain. Overall, we had a wonderful time, because we chose to have a wonderful time. However, there were pluses and minuses on this cruise. Pluses included good food overall, good dinner companions, great entertainment most nights, great front desk employees and sufficient activities. Minuses included not enough public spaces for ...

I was very impressed that I wasn't bored on the trip across the Atlantic. The staff kept everyone busy with lots of options for activities. The Chef was outstanding. I think this was perhaps my favorite trip when it comes to consistency of quality and taste of the food. Each night it was really wonderful. The Diamond Lounge was really nice. I have also always been impressed with the ...

Worth finding this ship/crew again!

16th cruise, and 6th crossing, so chosen mostly for convenience/price, but it was so nice that now I would seek this ship out for future cruises. Absolutely the CLEANEST ship I have ever been on, and others felt the same way. There are crew everywhere, wiping, dusting, shining. People can be messy, but this crew keeps up with them. Even glass-walled elevators somehow were wiped and never ...
