Great Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regatta

Well the Owners Suite 8064 was fabulous. There were several bad reviews of these suites right under the Terrace Cafe on deck 9.. because of the tables and chairs scraping on the floor above but since the retrofit in 2014 they must have put some material under the Teak floors above to silence the noises.. We only heard something a very few times and was very unremarkable. Crew was so gracious ...

First Time on Oceania

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Regatta

We were a little suspect of Oceania since we had been inundated by marketing material since we booked our cruise - back in March. But we enjoyed it very much. The Regatta is the perfect sized ship - easy to get around, you didn't have to hike from one end to the other. We noticed many special features that other cruise lines don't have..... free water and sodas in your cabin; free water when you ...

A Very Enjoyable 2 Weeks on Regatta

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Regatta

This was our second Oceania cruise. We had really enjoyed the Regatta when we sailed on a 7-night Alaska cruise (RT out of Seattle) in July of 2014, liked the itinerary (Montreal to Miami), and even booked the same stern cabin (7121). We were set for a wonderful 2 weeks. We flew in the day before we sailed and had booked into a small hotel in Old Montreal, Auberge Bonaparte. We had also ...

We are holidaying in US and Canada for almost 8 weeks and this itinerary from Montreal to Miami in luxury on Oceania Regatta fitted perfectly. A great cruise with outstanding service and excellent food and reasonable entertainment, together with a very interesting group of guests made for a successful and enjoyable cruise. We dined in each of specialty restaurants and enjoyed both. Felt food ...

Oceania Regatta experience was great!

My wife and I are in our early 60s. We have sailed many cruise lines, but mostly Cunard. We chose Oceania's Regatta to see the autumn colors of New England and Canada because it had a tremendous itinerary. The experience of a high level of service, high quality of food, and friendliness from EVERY member of Staff was remarkable. We have consequently booked Oceania cruises for 2017 and 2018!! ...

Another great cruise!

This was our 11th cruise with Oceania, so obviously we do love it. The only other lines we've cruised are Viking Ocean (1 cruise), Celebrity (2), and Princess (1). Our favorites are Viking Ocean and Oceania. I was glad to get back to Regatta, one of the smaller ships, and the first ship we cruised on back in the early 2000s. The itinerary included some smaller, lesser-known places that I was ...

A wonderful crew and delicious food!

This the best cruise we have taken (20). The weather was not the best so two of our stops were cancelled. The food was excellent (the best) and the one Sunday buffet was superior. The ship was filled but not crowded and the passengers were polite and friendly - there was not one negative experience. The cruise director was the best and most helpful of any we have seen and seemed to be always ...

Only a Couple of Glitches on an Otherwise Lovely Cruise

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Regatta

The Regatta is a beautiful, elegant ship. It was a wonderful and relaxing cruise. We took a 10 day cruise from Vancouver to Alaska to San Francisco. It was our first time on Oceania but we have hundreds of cruise days under our belt from other ships so have a good idea of what to expect. The food in the main dining room was the best cruise food we have ever tasted, wonderfully prepared and ...

Mid- luxury on small ship fabulous

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Regatta

We chose this ship because of the itinerary and small number of passengers. The staff, the dining, the communication during the trip, the cabin ( bed and linen) were all excellent. The shore excursions offered by the cruise line are expensive and if you are prepared to investigate tours yourself or walk down to the dock and take a chance on a tour, then they are at least 30% cheaper. The ...

Great for quality, not so for honesty and integrity.

My wife and I wanted to take an Alaska Cruise, and we aren't interested in large ships. Our travel agent recommended Oceania for its quality and the reasonable size (684 passengers) of the ship. The food was excellent, and the dining rooms were attractive and well designed. In the main dining room, we tried to sit at one of Denham's tables for dinner because he was an excellent and entertaining ...
