First time on Oceania loved it

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Regatta

We had been to the States before and have friends living in LA so decided to visit them for a bit and then go on a before heading back home to NZ. It really was a great experience. So relaxing and a great way to visit some of the coastline. I had ordered a PH2 suite which was great, but of course we are now ruined for any future trips. Loved how easy embarking was and the little extras like ...

Like several other reviewers, we had sailed with Oceania on 5 occasions before the "pandemic" and rebooked based on those experiences. This is clearly a company where the dead hand of remote corporate policy wonks is at work, setting procedures and practices on the ships with absolutely no clue of what going on at the operational, customer facing level. Penny pinching ad nauseum. This was an ...

This is our third cruise with Oceania and they over-delivered again. Here is what went right: 1) Oceania shore excursions on Bora-Bora/Raietea were on point and cost effective. Recommend: -Vanilla farm/Pearl Farm tour with meal "Tahaa Cultural Experience" (best prices in Tahiti for fresh vanilla beans @ 3800xpf/50grams). Fantastic hula show on same tour with great meal with free rum ...

Pluses +Very comfortable cabin with plenty of storage room +Great service (except for IT) +Food was excellent, even the buffets +Despite the ship being 25 yrs old it was remodeled well Negatives -Extremely slow wi-fi. We were only using it for work related reasons (no streaming, gaming etc.) but it a took long time for emails to pull up or attachments to open. -We had free ...

Hey there, It took me a while to write this review as I had to calm down and make sure I was in the right frame of mind to write my review. For those of you that are diehard Oceania cruiser’s, sorry but you’re truly missing the boat. I planned my cruise for almost a full year as it was a Bucket list cruise (can never afford to do this Cruise again). Sydney to the South Pacific, wish I could say it ...

Not up to expectation

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Regatta

Australia and New Zealand had been on my bucket list forever. I decided to upgrade my cruise experience and take this trip on Oceania. The cruise was a disappointment. It started when we came to board and we’re told we had to vivid test even though we had gotten an email 2 weeks earlier that we did not have to test. Mass confusion for the next three hours. The bathroom in the cabin was tiny. ...

Finest Cuisine at Sea - NOT

We were anticipating a culinary experience which we had not done before and hoped to learn on the things we had missed out on in the past. We thought we would give you our thoughts about this cruise. Our first impression of the ship when we embarked was "what the hell have we done". We were instructed to go to deck 9 for lunch (pool deck) where we found Waves grill which served burgers ...

Australia extravaganza “Not”

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Regatta

We chose the cruise for the itinerary, it was a circumnavigation of Australia calling at many smaller ports. We were also led to believe that the food on Oceania was the best at sea. Our Christmas Day dinner was so poor that I was envious of all those people at home who were having a traditional Christmas Dinner. We had no sprouts, pigs in blankets, vegetables or gravy. The desserts were like ...

Missed THREE advertised ports resulting over a week at sea.

Review for a Asia Cruise on Regatta

Chose because it was easy to get to embarkation port and part of the world we had not been to. Staff were at times too over attentive but mainly great. Appreciated some remembering our names and their friendliness. Otherwise mostly as expected. However advertised amenities were not offered, eg no fitness instructor on board. Some dance lessons were offered but lasted only 20 minutes. Poorly ...

After cruising 60+ times on various lines, we decided to see what all the Oceania fuss was about. We sailed in October-November 2022 from Papeete, Tahiti to Singapore for a total of 30 days. Rather than Go into every tiny detail, I’ll hit the highlights and some of the not-so-great things about our month-long South Pacific cruise. Pros: above all, the service. From the first morning onboard ...
