I am loyal to Royal and the Freedom class ships never disappoint! Truly something for everyone with a 70's and 80's party, Silent Party, White Party and ample bar venues, diverse music and exemplary shows, comedy and artistic performances. Couples massage is a wonderful spa experience onboard or I recommend relaxing a bit in the sauna or steam rooms. My time dining was never an issue to ...

had traveled on Freedom OTS several times prior and liked it this time some noticeable changes. Not as clean service had to be asked for instead being given willingly. 99% crew change-it seems all the experienced people went to the new ships and left trainees to fend for themselves . Because of the storm Hermine we didn't get to go to St Thomas and St Maarten . Did the opposite . We were ...

A Good Cruise in Spite of RCCL

The cruise itself was ok. The ports of call were good, the crew were excellent, the ship was good, the cabin nice the food TERRIBLE. They have changed their menus and you get a choice, every night it seemed, of 3 kinds of chicken, fish, and beef. One night they had lamb chops which were good. They have done away with the duck on formal night (or any other night for that matter), which was our ...

Sailing on the Freedom of the Seas was a nice experience. The ship reminded us of our sailings on the Voyager of the Seas in its overall layout. We enjoyed the promenade for it's activity throughout the day. One was not required to go outside to find something to do. The high ceilings added to the opened feeling and was delightfully lit in the evening. Our room steward, Alex, kept our ...

Wonderful vacation on Freedom of the Seas with three teenagers

I planned our cruise over a year in advance and read so many of the reviews here. I hope that mine can help someone else! We are from Ontario, just east of Toronto. We drove to Buffalo and flew to Orlando from there on Southwest. Our cruise didn't leave until the next day so I had booked us a room at the hotel that is right inside the Orlando airport, the Hyatt Regency Orlando International ...

Chose this cruise ( and itinerary) because we wanted to sail on the Freedom one more time before it was sent south. We have sailed on her many times, and she is still our favorite ship because of the size and features.... We were very pleased with the whole experience, except for the weather's interfering and changing our course. We are a senior couple, but we played golf, saw the ice show, and ...

This was my first cruise and my first holiday in America, the same goes for my parents and brother. Returning our Alamo rental car was easy at the port and they provided a shuttle bus to the cruise terminal. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. Our luggage was delivered to our room. Check in was from 11 to 3. We arrived at 1, however I recommend arriving as early as possible so you can ...

Fantastic Ship

This was my fourth cruise with Royal Caribbean and the first with a ship the size of the Freedom of the Seas. It was an incredible experience. First, having sailed on both Carnival and Celebrity, I am always amazed at how efficient the embarkation process is with RC. We were on the ship within an hour of arriving at the port. Since there were 3 of us in a cabin, the room was a bit cramped but ...

we booked this family cruise as a double celebratory holiday (wife's 50th and sons 18th birthday) and as part of a three tiered holiday experience which took in Disney, universal and ultimately the cruise itself. We've not done a cruise before and on the recommendation of Virgin holidays we picked this one from their itinery from the time we got on board things went downhill fast starting ...

We chose this cruise to celebrate our son's 16th birthday with the intention of having a nice, relaxing vacation and that we had! The embarkation and debarkation was very smooth and effortlessly... The ship is beautiful with plenty to do (we didn't have enough time). Great for teenagers and adults mostly. My teenagers were very occupied playing basketball in the court and walking around the ...
